LTB coin sounds like the smartest idea I've heard in a while. I LOVE the idea of being compensated for contributing meaningful content! This is so timely! What a stellar coin idea - a way to encourage writers, poets, podcasters, editors, et al to share their thoughts, their innovations, their experiences and their dreams? Needless to say . . . I'm excited!!!!!
Count me in Adam - this idea is FANTASTIC!!!!
I'm casting my vote for LTB and XCP!

hi Adam,
Can I safely say that LTB is going to the library with our members card and be able to read or borrow the materials there or would it be a case of we are all part of big movie cinema chain where we screen the movies and people pay to watch our shows0 likes -

Can I propose a Gallery for Poetry, Prose, Music and Art of all kinds? Just a thought. When I spoke with Andreas Antonopoulos at the Texas conference last week, he complimented me on my song (Ode To Satoshi) and then he spoke about how important he thinks the arts are in the Bitcoin Community - as in any community.
Just my 2 cents again!

: )John, I want to expand into all the areas it makes sense to. I also want to start fairly focused on what we have going on right now (shows and articles) but I have aims at book publishing, and I own artbitcoin.com that we can do something with (I wanted to make it an art contest/auction site but haven't made it happen yet)

Ok I confess . . . I was shamelessly plugging my song again! But why not right? It was a genuine labor of love. It came from my heart and from my great hope that this paradigm change I'm seeing unfold is as real as it seems to be. Some of what is going on on the tech side is simply blowing my mind. And since I'm not a tech guy, sometimes I wonder whether or not I even fit in. But then something will happen like what happened the other day. My friend Connie was traveling through Southern Illinois and she and her friend just happened to make a random stop at a small cafe in an out of the way town. On the door was a sticker, "Bitcoin Accepted Here". She was both shocked and amazed! She sent me a pick of the door and then talked my ear off the next day about the young guy who owned the cafe. Interestingly enough, he was accepting Bitcoin and yet he had never heard of Litecoins!! But get this, he HAD heard of Dogecoins!!!
It's stories like these that excite me and make me want to leave the dullness of my stupid desk behind and head out across the country on a mission to see how things are going - all things. I know there are a lot of people hurting in this country (and this world) and despite what the talking heads say, I know that our economy on some levels is in serious trouble. But I have great faith always in the goodness and ingenuity of my fellow humans (minus a few bad apples) and THAT is what keeps me going and wanting to be a part of this - the Dawn of The Age of Digital Currency!!!!
Rock on LTB!!!

John, I want to work with Tatiana to build a LabelCoin, I think that's really what you need. I'm happy to help in every way I can to make it happen :)0 likes -

I love the idea of a label coin and have been thinking about how Bitcoin could help the music biz as well.

I just joined. I'm impressed with the LTB move to help people with goxcoin. Plus, the whole LTB coin is an awesome way to support a company.

I've drafted a concept called Ticketcoin that I think would help musicians and event planners. I posted it over in the ProtoShares Forum.
It would enable a kickstarter style event launch, enable early supporters to buy batches of tickets at a discounted price, once the event is funded, any tickets issued could then be traded or sold prior to the event via a decentralized online exchange. Ticket ownership would be validated and secured by a blockchain or meta coin. The musician does not do the event if not enough tickets are sold so no risk of events losing money.
This could work for any event that sells tickets, or even hotel reservations, airline tickets, etc. No need for paper tickets, QR codes are scanned at the entry to the event. Scalpers could speculate by buying batches of tickets early thus helping to kickstart the event but also take the risk of having to sell tickets below the price they paid. Online real time exchange would ensure all tickets would be sold at some price. The musician or event planner win either way by selling enough tickets to launch the event in the first place.
Goodbye Ticketmaster, good bye credit card fees on ticket sales, hello more live music events that give more control of the event and ticket sales to the performers. Good bye dodgy scalpers or fake paper tickets on Craigslist, hello access to tickets to any event at any time from an easily searched online ticket marketplace.0 likes
