Ok I confess . . . I was shamelessly plugging my song again! But why not right? It was a genuine labor of love. It came from my heart and from my great hope that this paradigm change I'm seeing unfold is as real as it seems to be. Some of what is going on on the tech side is simply blowing my mind. And since I'm not a tech guy, sometimes I wonder whether or not I even fit in. But then something will happen like what happened the other day. My friend Connie was traveling through Southern Illinois and she and her friend just happened to make a random stop at a small cafe in an out of the way town. On the door was a sticker, "Bitcoin Accepted Here". She was both shocked and amazed! She sent me a pick of the door and then talked my ear off the next day about the young guy who owned the cafe. Interestingly enough, he was accepting Bitcoin and yet he had never heard of Litecoins!! But get this, he HAD heard of Dogecoins!!!
It's stories like these that excite me and make me want to leave the dullness of my stupid desk behind and head out across the country on a mission to see how things are going - all things. I know there are a lot of people hurting in this country (and this world) and despite what the talking heads say, I know that our economy on some levels is in serious trouble. But I have great faith always in the goodness and ingenuity of my fellow humans (minus a few bad apples) and THAT is what keeps me going and wanting to be a part of this - the Dawn of The Age of Digital Currency!!!!
Rock on LTB!!!

@eastsideJohn, I firmly believe that artists like yourself are 100% essential for the success of cryptocurrencies. Yes, there is a lot more engineering, building, and fine-tuning to be done over the next few years... but I don't believe that's the bottleneck for bitcoin and cryptocurrencies right now. The bottlenecks are: 1) awareness, 2) understanding, 3) adoption, and 4) ease of use.
Regarding the last bottleneck, ease of use: Right now, the Bitcoin Protocol is being compared to TCP/IP - the internet protocols and standards upon which the entire internet is built. It's been said again and again that right not we're in the 1993-4 for Bitcoin (aka you ain't seen nothing yet). So while it was possible to "surf the web" in 1994, it was a pretty big pain in the ass. Google, Yahoo!, AOL, eBay, PayPal (Confinity + x.com), Amazon.com, authorize.net... etc opened the doors for a much easier-to-use internet. Teams of engineers and entrepreneurs are already tackling those challenges now - and the competition will be fierce.
But regarding bottlenecks 1, 2 & 3: we need people like you to serve as ambassadors to both local and global communities. Music and all of the arts are incredibly effective channels for addressing the challenges of user awareness, understanding, and adoption.
Some will push the technology forward. And some will bring it to life.Your home is here and we appreciate your work. So sing brother!-CC
Lol, sing until errbody gandma uses bitcoin!
