@adam I'd love to get some more female personalities on the air. Stephanie does great work but I know it's lonely :)
How about doing an interview with Perianne Boring from the new Chamber of Digital Commerce? I always enjoyed her articles at Forbes when she still used to work there (the Boring report I believe it was called).

Where is the downvote/unlike button??
@redsn0w, you are definitly wrong. Exhibit A: I am a woman and proudly using Bitcoin, as well as participating in this and other bitcoin forums. I have been obsessed with Bitcoin since I first realized its enormous potential to make a profound impact for advancing social justice, including helping women around the world who are presently living in great poverty in male-dominated societies.

@thewittyhawk Every girl I've talked to has been completely turned off by the idea of bitcoin.
I guess you´ve been talking to the wrong girls then. Keep trying!

@nilli I'm a girl. If circumstances were different I would definitely use bitcoin more than I do today. As it is now, my significant other handles most of our money, both fiat and bitcoin, so on the few occasions when I do make a purchase I usually borrow his device to pay with rather than getting my own.
My mother has made a long-term investment in some bitcoin, waiting for more of those bubbles.
Few girls used the internet in its beginning too, but look at it now. Nobody goes "OMG YOU'RE A GIRL!" when they see someone online now, but that's what they did when I first started using the internet in the '90s. In fact, back then, a lot of people just assumed I was lying when I claimed to be a girl, that's how uncommon it was. Give bitcoin some years to become mainstream and then it'll be used commonly by all kinds of minorities.
Good for you that you were one of the first internet using girls, just like me! On the other hand, if I were you, I would start to manage my own money/bitcoin asap. Nobody likes to think of what would happen if/when you split up some day, but I can assure you you´ll be glad then you manage your own finances and don´t depend on anyone to do it for you. Also it would be good to learn about this, not just because of the hopefully unlikely scenario I already mentioned, but even in case a terrible accident may happen to your significant other and you may find yourself suddenly alone to manage all your family finances.

I think girls don't like, tech, finance, libertarian ideas.
So kinda natural that they are not swarming the bitcoin topic.

What? Way to make sweeping generalizations @knircky. Please allow me to introduce myself: I´m an engineer and computer scientist, I got all A´s in my college accounting and economy classes (and all others for that matter LOL), graduated summa cum laude with a Masters of Science degree. Math was my favorite subject in high school. And yes, I am female and love Bitcoin!
