    I'm in if you have room, and will yield to others if too many want to play. I manage a league at work, and just this morning had the thought, "how can I work crypto coins into the league to get people interested?" This is a great idea. Well done.

    @biggiebitcoin Sounds like a great idea! HUGE football fan. The only problem for me is that I live in the US. On counterparty website, when i click make a bet, it shows:

    "It appears that you are located in a country in which we are legally unable to provide this service."

    I'm assuming that this is happening because this is still a centralized exchange for the time being; I know that it is in the works of being decentralized in the future.

    This won't be an issue because you won't need to use the Bet function for the FFL.

    My plan is to create separate assets for each team, non-divisible with a quantity of one each and callable at the end of the season so they can be reused. The commissioner will hold ownership of each team asset. The asset tokens will then be sold to the league manager for LTBc.

    If a team is sold mid-season, the new owner will need to send the commissioner a signed message from the address holding the team asset. Included in the signed message will be the new manager's email address which the commissioner can then assign to control that team on Yahoo's Fantasy Football site.

    I count five in so far including me:

    @loon3 @markxmayer @popinjay @therealtwig @kyleatlas

    There were a few others that expressed interest but didn't seem entirely committed. Let me know if I missed anyone.

    I've played in a few leagues over the years and in my opinion the ideal number of teams is 12. If we can get there we'll be good.

    Today was supposed to be the Grand Announcement for the upcoming launch of the Counterparty BitBowl.

    Basically I created Counterparty assets for each team name and was (am) going to sell them on the exchange at a price corresponding to their latest Las Vegas Super Bowl odds. After the big game, the team token corresponding to the winning team could be sold for the "grand prize" of 0.10 BTC on the exchange.

    I thought this would be a fun idea because your token is more of a "futures contract" than a bet and it can naturally be exchanged for anything else represented as a Counterparty digital asset.

    Well, this morning I woke up to find out Blogger had automatically labeled my blog as "spam" (even though I put 15-20 hours of manual labor into it) and deleted it. I was foolish and didn't copy all my content to a Word doc.

    So I am waiting to see if they will re-instate it. If not I will just have to re-create it on my own server.

    I will post a summary of rules and FAQs here in its own thread pretty soon... after I've worked up the willpower to bang it out again for the 3rd or 4th time.

    Anyway what do you guys think about the concept in general? If there was a way to automate the purchase order for the winning team tokens after the Super Bowl, I would most certainly want to implement that.

    Hey...count me in if there is still room.

    I'm co-commish of a friends and family league and this year I got everyone to agree to let me hold the funds in bitcoin! Cool, eh? Will be interesting to see what the pot is worth come December.

    We're up to 8 which means we have at least the minimum we need.

    @loon3 @markxmayer @popinjay @therealtwig @kyleatlas @necrix @jeffski1 @troy112

    I created 12 Counterparty assets (FFLTEAMA, FFLTEAMB, ... FFLTEAMK) and I'm working on creating a web interface we can use to track which addresses control which teams. I'm hoping to use a vennd.io vending machine to sell the team assets (if it's available within the next few weeks, maybe @adam has an idea...) If not I can just distribute them manually. Once the season get's started I can also aggregate the scores on my site.

    Let's see if we can get 4 more people!

    @loon3 fantastic work. I think I'm most excited about the possibility of being involved in something created on CounterParty. How cool is that!
