We need a running list of ideas...Please add short explanations next to your idea.
Here is a scrappy etherpad we can use to write out this stuff.

I'm really digging the thought put into how the audience earns LTBcoin. It's a great move that shows the network values audience engagement. Super win-win.

How about proof or read?  You get LTBcoins from reading articles.  It could be a much smaller pie.

How would it add additional value to the user over a proof of education model?
I could see this somehow tied into Proof of Education like a subroutine.

How about considering proof of translation since it seems that more and more non English-native speakers are joining in our forum?

Could you draft a proposal for this? The concept of how it would operate.

Spammers won't be included, as they fall under "trolls"

Adam said: I think the commenting part will be hard to guard against gaming (like what happened to Digg). I'm not sure what metrics reddit uses, but link karma could be gamed (having swarms of sock puppets). What methods do you think can be used to combat this?

I've been thinking about creating a reddit-like system where everybody gets a few votes free per day but otherwise you can send LTB to it if you want more voice.

I'm more familiar with the Slashdot style of commenting/moderation. Is reddit modeled upon this or something else? Either way, it seems to work well enough for Slashdot. Any reason it can't be implemented with LTBCoin?
