I like Bosman's idea with podcast. My biggest contribution is downloading the podcast and then forwarding them to my Facebook friends. This will spread the news about LTB.

This feels more spammy than effective. Most everything else we are paying for results how do we do that here?

What about a proof of education model? This feature continuously tests users based on questions derived from content creators and contributors. This would allow users to earn coins just by learning. This could help fuel the next generation of evangelists.

sounds like a glorified version of those sites where you supposedly get paid for doing surveys and stuff. Except this would actually work :p I like it

Ohhh, like a quiz at the end of the chapter? That's pretty awesome. Everyone has all these great ideas...I'm pretty sure this network is going to consume my life once it's up and running, if these kinds of ideas are implemented!

I understand what you mean about spamming and personally about to drop out of Facebook because of the data collection issue. My intentions is to share the podcast with family and friends. Soft spam? Hehe

Yes. I also like proof of education. I'm not only learning the bitcoin network/platform but also all of the terminology and computer science.

Yes exactly. The system could be setup as well for more advanced users to create questions and receive funds for creating questions. I think we will need a lot of questions to eliminate the ability for people to cheat.
Maybe once a user has answered so many questions correctly, he/she becomes certified. The certification could be held on the blockchain as well.

I like the idea of a reddit type voting system for comments. And I like the idea of the votes costing ltb coin as well, with the comment writer receiving the value as a tip for the comment.

Amazing how ideas can be created simultaneously... I thought of this last night but I called it "proof of learning". New users have to watch instructional videos about Bitcoin, then pass a short quiz to earn LTBcoins. I then thought of the idea of "proof of registration" would which tie into the affiliate program - if you refer a friend to the network and they join (sign up, confirm registration, complete short human-based quiz), you get coins and so does the new user. After registration, the more tutorials/quizzes you complete, the more coins you get and the more coins the friend that referred you gets. You could in theory earn coins from all of the people you refer to the network, assuming they complete one or more tutorials. This would in essence reward people for learning about Bitcoin and for introducing their friends as well.
The tutorials could start out simple - eg. how to set up a secure Bitcoin wallet, to very advanced - how to launch your own asset on the CounterParty platform. Complete the quiz, earn coins, refer your friends. With this system, every person on the network would have an incentive to introduce newcomers into the network and complete tutorials to earn coin.
For proof of sharing I also thought of "Proof of Tweet" - earn coins by tweeting links to your followers?
I like some of the other concepts here too. In theory, their could be a proof of popularity, where likes and votes accumulate into coins. I was thinking of a social network like Facebook, except you are rewarded with coins when your posts are shared - proof of sharing.
So learning and sharing become the new mining... fascinating.0 likes
