I am very happy that you are doing this! The theory behind DAC is very interesting and I am very excited watching how this turns out in practice!

I'm also following the counterparty project heavily.
It's interesting to see how crypto 2.0 could enable all of these projects to interact seamlessly

Adam, I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on distributing some coins to holders of PTS or AGS (for those of you who don't know, those are the two seed projects that BitShares is being built on).

You're not building a DAC per se, but people who hold PTS and AGS are the kinds of people who would be valuable members of a coin community.

You also seem to be bullish on the potential of PTS/AGS, and one way to strengthen that ecosystem would be to honor PTS/AGS to some extent.

Anyway, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Adam said: Does LTBCoin have a wallet like other altcoins?

Once it is released yes, but it won't be a satoshi client. It will support Bitcoin, XCP, LTB and all other assets created on XCP

I believe this LTBcoin will have a ton of value, because it is the first coin of it's kind and because the LTB network will continue to grow. The people that listen to LTB on a regular basis definitely have a interest in owning this new coin (myself included.) Maybe part of the distribution could be to people/addresses that have tipped posts on the network in the past?

We have talked about this, but the logistics are very difficult given how many unique, small tips we've received over time.

great !! i have a few XCP came in very late on the BTC ecosysteme but not willing to miss the train on 2.0 crypto

Adam,It would also be great to include a bit for the musicians on all the podcast shows on the network as I imagine none of them have been paid for the content.
on Bitcoins and Gravy it would Eleanor Roosevelt and Johnny's Down Home Country Band
I have heard music on all the podcasts on the network as well
    Great idea to include musicians!

Speaking of musicians. I'm a musician that has never been compelled to sign to a label though I played semi professionally in a couple small bands. I really only play for friends and family. I do however want to contribute to bitcoin in some way considering how strong I feel about what it could potentially do for the world. If anyone wants to use some of my stuff or needs something done let me know. I would love to collaborate or donate something to LTB. you can hear some of my stuff at dualminds.net. click on the evolve link.

Wow! 50% premine... Is that set in stone...? It seems a little high... It will probably work out because you guys have such a great following, (including me. I listen to every episode that comes out the day it comes out) but as a normal invester would never buy a coin that was premined too such an extent... Even if I trust the people who receive it not to sell them off... Just saying... why not premine a little less to try to attract more investors? Or is it just that if you premine at all you might as well go big?

    Much Love,
    Griff

    It's a doubt i already asked here: http://ltbcoin.com/discussion/55/subjective-coin-distribution#latest
TL;DR They will create LTBcoins weekly, so those coins will be only the coins for the first week. Seems to be.
