  I'm in, I think its a very speculative bet and has some big challenges; That said they have a brilliant philosophy and talented team. Given the scope of the project they are progressing well. I find it admirable that what they have accomplished without any real funding. They took a lot of time getting tier legal framework organised and have been very humble about their project. It will be fascinating to see how it goes now some money is coming their way. Wishing them all the best!

  It seems an excellent project with brilliant devs involved. But I feel concerned about its network effect...

  When you say network effect, do you mean the impact Ethereum will have on the overall cryptocurrency network? Or the "network effect", referring to the idea of how bitcoin was the first major cryptocurrency and can be expected to gain the most users because of it's first mover advantage and has the most users?

  Im planning on getting some but haven't yet. My plan was to put about 0.3-0.5 in but havent decided. Was going to wait a week to see how the crowd sale goes before jumping in.

  @shawnj well I'm too late.. they opened it yesterday & they're already sold out. now I gotta wait for the first dump lol

  ok, I'm an idiot, I just had to whitelist it in noscript

  technical question though- how do I use the wallet? the download button gives you a .json file, idk how to use that. apparently it's a plaintext file with the wallet address. I tried to import it into blockchain.info but that didn't work.

  edit: reading more, it looks like we don't need to import it until the etherium wallet is released in ~6 months? so we just hold onto the .json file and claim our ether at that time?
