Howdy,
It certainly seems that when you first learn about Bitcoin you have to spend a lot of time learning about Bitcoin, and then you become sucked in to Bitcoin.
I think that suggesting one is "sucked in" is quite misleading.
When I learned of Bitcoin it was yet-another-interesting-tech-thing until about 6 months later May of last year, when I realized I wanted to know a lot more. I started to research in my spare time, and then taking time from my regular schedule to explore more possibilities, until about 1.5 months ago when I determined Bitcoin would be my working life focus.
I still feel like I am in preparation mode for many things that are yet to come, and basic education in the changing Bitcoin world is essential for those of us who are dedicated to mainstream adoption.
How or where I make, or spend, my time and money is normally a personal conversation, but I can understand why you might want to know. I make time by being as physically fit as possible with exercise and diet. I make my income by providing value to those who see the value. See DAVACOIN for more info.

Getting sucked in isn't necessarily a bad thing though :)
You are correct, no one has to answer any of these questions for sure. It is just interesting to see what people do have to say though regarding it.
Just checked out DAVACOIN and that is a really cool idea with potential for other applications as well.
Instead of selling shares in a company or an idea you are literally selling shares in yourself and that indeed is an interesting concept!
