@cryptonaut hey guys, il deal with this asap

Please just act fast as you can, it seems is getting out of hands.

@melisande are you saying this has not been fixed?

Have not try it, but has it been fix ?

Why are you just mindlessly replying to posts? Your previous reply stated "Please just act fast as you can, it seems is getting out of hands." now you ask "Have not try it, but has it been fix ?"

yeah, @melisande seems to do that a lot... my favorite is when they quote a link and then say "what is this link?". Click the damn link and find out instead of making a useless post! :)

also no, the forum filtering issue has not yet been fixed

    • Blog Editors now receive 20% of the points for both Proof of Quality/Publication and Proof of Value reports. As an editor, if you set the post status to either "Published" or "Editing/Processing", you automatically claim that post for editor rewards. An admin or chief editor can manually set the editor for each post.

    Thank you!

How does the distribution work if one editor edits/processes and another publishes?

at the moment, there can only be one editor attached to each post, so its whoever "claims" it first. For example, if you are editing a post, you could set it to "Editing/Processing" status. If one of the admins / chief editor etc. comes and does a final check over and then publishes it, you are still considered the editor for that submission (unless an admin manually changes it). Does that make sense?

@dg175 Am I the only person having this issue?

we are waiting for adam to get back from vacation so he can update the RSS feed URLs

  • Re: LTB / Tokenly Platform Updates

@bcohen In some cases I would like to adjust higher. I have one article I am working on where the editor will receive 50% (they will probably be listed as a co-writer.) In the future it would be great to be able to adjust this amount and be able to split with other users "automagically." For now i'll work it out with the editors one on one.

Sure thing. This is mostly a temporary measure due to some concerns of the current editors with lack of compensation/recognition in the current system. We can tweak the percentages and yeah, a bit later on we can have things like splitting the points between more than one writer/editor or configuring the point split per article

  • Re: Thinking of Spamming the Forums? Consider Yourself Warned!

Negative proof of participation points for deleted/buried posts is now in effect. See this post: http://letstalkbitcoin.com/forum/post/ltb-platform-updates?page=5#post-29617

  • Re: LTB / Tokenly Platform Updates

    @adam @rotalumis @everyone else :)

    Proof of Participation Updates

    • You can now receive negative PoP points. If a moderator deletes/buries your forum post, you lose a full 4 points for every offense. (I added a note for this on the stats page: http://letstalkbitcoin.com/ltbcoin-stats ). This means that if we have to remove your posts (due to spam etc.) every day, you could actually end up with 0 or negative overall PoP and not receive any weekly LTBcoin.
    • Fixed the calculations for "diminishing returns". Previously, it was diminishing scores for the entire week combined. It now properly only diminishes on a day by day basis. For instance, if you made 70 posts in a week and spread it out at 10 posts per day, you would now get a total of 82 points. Before this fix, you would only have received 19 points.
    • Removed 4x multiplier for blog posts with podcasts in the Proof of Value calculations. Instead, podcasters now get extra points for every magic word submitted by a user.

    Other Updates

    • Fixed some bugs in the web API
    • Added an API endpoint for "Magic Words" (primarily for use in the official LTB app). Documentation for this is coming soon, but a quick note on using it can be found in the LTB Platform Support Trello board.
  • Re: Auto BTC faucet BOT?

if you have a bot that can crack most kinds of captchas, then yeah its definitely possible. Im sure that there is bots like that out there but I dont know of any (not really my scene).

  • Re: Wondering about Status of My Post

@hesham3del Well, I guess my brother @Cryptonaut could help you.

actually, @rotalumis is who you want. Im not involved on the publishing / content creation side of things.
