Re: Accidental double spend
@cryptonaut hmm thats weird. Whats the transaction ID / bitcoin address?
Sorry, not doing that for privacy reasons. I belong to the users that sort off use one address for everything. But you could try and reproduce it yourself.
Ok. Yeah its just hard to tell unless you actually seeing the transaction lol. If you want you could PM me, but no worries

Re: LTB / Tokenly Platform Updates
@cherapple That's a very good step in the right direction. However, I always do a certain amount of work - often a lot - on a piece at the proofreading stage in order to get it to a point where I feel good about hitting "publish." I'm getting no compensation for the final stages of publishing.
It's partly a matter of me communicating better with the other editors about how much work I'm doing after they turn their edited articles over for proofreading, partly a matter of training them to take care of the matters of Markdown formatting and editing style, and partly a matter of me being a perfectionist about editorial consistency.
Right. sounds good. The setup at the moment is mostly temporary while we plan and flesh out the submission/editing/publishing process
Another small thing: When I set a post to "editing/processing," it appears as in "draft" on the posts page. Can the status accurately reflect that a post is in editing? This way, both authors and editors can immediately see that a post has been claimed for editing, and we can distinguish it from spam and posts that authors are still working on.
Thanks.
Cheryl
ahh, I thought I had that fixed already but I guess not lol. I will look into it

Re: how to creat wibsite with faucet
Honestly, unless you can bring in a lot (as in like at least 3 - 5,000 people a day) of traffic and a lot of advertisement revenue, faucet sites just are not very profitable anymore. Back in the day when BTC was only like $5 or $10 a piece, it was way easier and cheaper to start up, since you could give away larger amounts of BTC without it being expensive and the standard transaction fee was only worth about half a cent. There also never used to be the transaction "dust" limit (you cant really send any transactions that are less than 0.0000055 BTC).
Ever since BTC has been $100 - $500+ each, it now is way more expensive and difficult to run a faucet. Not to mention there is sooo many of them already. You are probably better off investing the time into creating a different service

Re: Request for home page notification
the main problem with this is that we use "Disqus" as the comment system for blog articles, which is a totally seperate service. Like deweller said, you should be able to click on the "subscribe" button at the bottom of the article comments to receive email updates

Re: [Announce] EmailMe - Get Emailed When You Get Paid
@thewittyhawk The site looks really nice and I will definitely be signing up. Do you have any thoughts on accepting more then just bitcoin and LTBc?
It is certainly possible to modify it to accept other tokens. Is there one in particular you had in mind?
The only one I had in mind was namecoin.
namecoin exists on its own blockchain (counterparty assets still use bitcoin), so that would require significant extra overhead. plus how often do you get payments in namecoin? lol

Re: EARNFREEBTC.XCP - Earn BTC with your CounterWallet
@otakusboy hey,why my earnfreebtc is locked ? how can i exchange it to btc ?
the lock icon just means that no new shares can be created (there will always be a max of 100,000 EARNFREEBTC tokens in existence). You can exchange it to BTC by selling it to somebody

Re: [Help] Date/Time ??
Yeah, but my purpose. Is the system detect automatically my timezone?? Or i should set manual timing post??
OK, I understand now. I can't answer that. I would just leave it set to the board time as that can be used as a universal reference and shouldn't leave any confusion. But, as I said I can't really answer the question. Try pinging one of the mods. @rotalumis @Cryptonaut
Thanks page for reply. :)
@rotalumis @Cryptonaut: Is the system detect automatically my timezone?? Or i should set manual timing post??
no, currently all times are in pacific time zone (which is where the server lives). One of the items on our to do list is enabling custom time zone settings per user
