It would be helpful if the notification panel included an alert to the author when someone cornments on an article/post on the home page. Similarly, it would be nice for a commemtor to get an alert if someone replies to a comment on the home page.

I'm sure the "to do" list is huge and you all are doing an awesome job. Please just consider this request at your convenience.

  But it shows on homepage if anyone comment or like your post, all you just need to do is to go back to your dashboard and check your notification over there.

  Yes, But, not if you write an article or comment on an article posted on the front page. You don't receive notifications from the front page. So, in order to see if a comment or reply is made, you have to keep going back and checking.

  Yes, i do not know that what you are talking about, i do not have the idea of that but let us look up to Cryptonaut am very sure he will have something to say about this.

  @wildjo,

  To get emails when the front page is updated, try this:

  Go to https://ifttt.com and sign up for an account. Then create a recipe that sends you an email when an RSS feed is updated. You can then use the front page RSS feed at http://feeds.feedburner.com/letstalkbitcoin/frontpagearticles and you will receive an email automatically when it is updated*.

  I believe you can also receive emails when users comment on an article, just hit the "subscribe" button at the very bottom of the comments. You must have a Discuss account with an email address for this to work.

  • looks like there are some issues with the RSS feeds right now. I believe Cryptonaut is working to resolve these soon.

  the main problem with this is that we use "Disqus" as the comment system for blog articles, which is a totally seperate service. Like deweller said, you should be able to click on the "subscribe" button at the bottom of the article comments to receive email updates
