  I know it's not quite the same since they don't take bitcoins directly, but I have bought several bitcoins worth of stuff from Amazon with bitcoins using Purse.io. You even get a discount.

  I have to admit that I'm your average overstock buyer who purchased 1000 thread count bed sheets. Mostly because we cant get them here in Australia.

  I typically use it for food on a monthly basis. There are quite a few merchants where I live that accept BTC. When I attend Bitcoin meetups I always pay in BTC.

  I also have purchased quite a bit of electronics from Tiger Direct and New Egg, Bitcoin Comic, Pizza, Movie Tickets, gift cards for multiple places and a lot of drugs from silk road. Just kidding about the drugs from silk road. Please don't arrest me.

  First big purchase was my Trezor for a whole friggin' bitcoin, when they were selling for $100. Recently I use Purse.io and the Fold app for Starbucks at least once or twice a week. Both are fantastic ways to get your bitcoins circulating. Just repurchase on the dips.

  One hell of a discount. My average discount is probably around 30%. Oh yeah, 20% of Starbucks with Fold app as well. Funds instantly. Probably the most impressive use of Bitcoin so far if you want to impress the uninitiated.
