  Enough to live on but not enough to retire...yet.

  I was taught it wasn't proper to about money at a young age. I never say the amount I earn as it can make you a target be it a coworker who does the same job for less or an ex.

  @ltb4me There's am NPR Money Episode that describes a company that made all it public as to what every made. It's pretty interesting where people didnt care as much as you'd think.

  Being a teacher, what you have described is pretty much true. Everyone knows where each other is at on the salary schedule and people could really care less. Most of my peers did not get into the position for the money.

  The only drama I ever hear about comes when there is an obvious disparity or inequality. For instance, a head basketball coach that makes significantly more than the head of a department at a major university.

  I think it could lead to some jealousy issues if implemented in a previously anonymous system but it would eventually level out since managers would not increase/decrease someone's salary without having a legitimate reason. If another employee saw that increase and was doing the same work, they would want the same pay.

  I make too much/not enough money to quit my day job programming for a solar energy company. I have a few stock options in this company and so there is that possibility some day. Or I could win a big poker tournament. (I won a small one last year as you can see here Or maybe this BTC thing will go mega some day. Or maybe one of the songs I have written will turn into a huge international hit. (I wrote one yesterday that I call the 'Blockchain Shuffle'.)

  I do surveying for large road constructor in fl also run a network and pc setup maintenance and repair business as well as train and a trim horses. I am looking for ways to let my computers earn money for me

  i'm still searching how to earn something with crypto because mining is not worth anymore and with such small amount of BTC and LTC there is no gain at all :) on the other hand, i'm an IT specialist.. of course underpaid :D
