  Havnt updated this in a while.. some recent updates:

  • Created "Token Societies" feature - our first feature taking advantage of "Token Controlled Viewpoints" and verified addresses / token tracking. Check it out here: http://letstalkbitcoin.com/token-societies . Most of the past week or two has been focused on getting this ready and set up
  • Some system upgrades related to Token Societies feature. We can now apply user ownership to individual forum boards within the system, allowing the owner to change board title / description and also manage who the moderators are. We can also now assign ownership to counterparty assets within our local "asset cache", which lets you setup a custom token description, link and logo.
  • Fixed issue with the board filters on the Recent Posts section so that newly created boards/categories are not automatically filtered out. Also, for new users and people not logged in, non-english boards are now filtered out by default
  • Working on some secret stuff for an Asset Based Puzzle game (ABP - see this post: http://letstalkbitcoin.com/blog/post/tcv ). More on this later

  Upcoming stuff within the next few weeks:

  • Forum API functionality
  • Revamped and improved blog article submission/editing system

  Quick status update, been a little while:

  • Forum API almost complete. Documentation can be found on the tokenly github repository, but I will post more about that when its totally done next week
  • Notification emails now show what the message is when you are mentioned in a post or someone posts in a topic you are subscribed to. Currently this shows up in the notifications dropdown also... which is a bug and will be fixed shortly.
  • You no longer get Proof of Participation points for forums in private boards (to avoid hidden boards used as spam farms)
  • Issues from the trello "platform support" board have been moved over to the Issues section on the github repository (and a few new ones added). Should work a bit better for other developers for it all to be in the same place I think.   Should have the forum API complete fairly soon here, and then will be working on improving the blog article submission and editing system

  This is starting to become more of a monthly update..

  Changes since last time:

  • Fixed an assortment of bugs
  • Some upgrades to backend / behind the scenes stuff in the system
  • Individual forum boards can now be subscribed to, so you can get a notification whenever there is either a new topic posted or a new reply
  • Blog categories can now have an image attached to them. example: http://letstalkbitcoin.com/blog/category/episodes
  • Did a major update to the LTBcoin stats page: http://letstalkbitcoin.com/ltbcoin-stats you can now see specific details on every distribution that has been made, leaderboards for all time stats and you can see your real-time personal Proof of Participation stats (if you are logged in)
  • Added forum functionality to the web API. This is primarily for the new LTB Forum App that is coming out for iOS (and I think Android at some point..?). Some other interesting things could be done with this as well.. including stuff like RSS feeds for forum boards or topics.   Now that some of that stuff is out of the way,currently working on overhauling the whole backend/dashboard blog submission and editing interface. After that, the forums in general will be receiving some major upgrades.
