Perfect start, if you could (and after taking permission) record the class audio and video or audio only, this will be a plus.

Another plus, if you can get us the material, scanned or online one (if this doesn't break any TOS or agreements).

Thank you and looking forward for this. Keep it up :)

I had missed the first thread and have decided to add this course more as refresher then anything. Unfortunately since I'm already working on some other courses I will most likely fall behind where the rest of the community doing this course is so I won't be posting in/bumping this thread much so just wanted to say thank you for doing this @shopnhowler.

@hesham3del sounds like you're looking for the whole course. If registration cost (minimum $250 donation) is your primary concern, that's just one of three options available:

    • certificate (minimum $250 donation) - ID verified on certificate
    • honor-code certificate (free, with option to make a donation later) - ID not verified on certificate
    • audit (free but no certificate at end)

@silvergoldandbitcoin looks like you can still register. Please see above for the three options, one of which is free with the option to donate later if cost is an issue at this time.

All: The course comprises of slides with intermittent video for each subchapter so the content is pretty dense. I'm still learning on how to insert content in these threads, but let me know if there's anything specific that catches your guys' attention and I'll try to expound according to edX's course.

*edit: included response to user silvergoldandbitcoin's request for online content. It looks like users can still register for the course as well.

I'm glad to see so much interest in Linux. I have been using Linux off and on for about 8 years, and it has been my primary operating system for about 3 years. I absolutely love the operating system and community, and love that bitcoin is helping people gravitate towards it naturally.

Discussion in edX is pretty positive and helpful.

Anybody else from this forum doing this course?
