@shopnhowler I haven't had a chance to start yet. Was hoping to midweek this week, but had some other pressing tasks that prevented me from getting started. Looking to pick up on it at the start of this week with chapters 1 and 2!

@therealtwig Yeah, easier said than done but we all have to start somewhere!
I'm still pushing through chapters 2 and 3 myself, but I'm a little worried about the final exam because it seems so far away that I may forget all the details.

@shopnhowler, will you continue this or shall I lock the thread ?

@hesham3del sounds good. I could start a separate discussion thread or we could continue discussing.
@kerneloops I'm opting for the latter for now. Have you edited a thread title before? Sorry if this seems trivial but I couldn't find anything.
edit: spelling

Thanks, Kerneloops. I'm okay either way with locking this thread or not. I figured keeping it open will allow prospective and current students of the course to ask questions.

It won't be closed, don't worry.
But I don't see that you are updating the course, would we see it updated in the coming few days ?

Have you registered for the course? The original post includes all lessons, topics, and subtopics of the course for anyone thinking about registering (also, registering is available free). So the main purpose of leaving the thread open is to answer questions of potential course takers.

If I can recall correctly, you were taking about posting the classes here and have people (students) talking with you about it, or I'm mistaken ?

@hesham3del Memory serves you correctly. I originally titled this thread with "week 1", thinking that each week there would be new course material, but the 18 chapters released that Thursday/Friday (July 31/August 1) is everything.
