After listening to the latest "beyond bitcoin" episode, I find myself pouring through wikipedia, looking up wine faults & werewolves, feeling like an idiot...
I do like the idea of each host choosing how to do the magic words. we've seen some creative ways to force you to listen to the entire show... like the MMM episode where paul said 3 separate words, which you had to combine without spaces.
so my question is: what does wine tasting have to do with proving that I listened to an hour about storj? It's an interesting idea, and it's similar to the scavenger hunt that was featured in a previous episode of LTB. but I don't have a lot of free time, and I doubt I'll get the credit for this one.
anybody else's thoughts on this? I think it's good to try out a range of options, some easy, some tough.. but when is it too tough that it no longer relates to "proof of listening"?
EDIT: here's an idea. if the magic word is going to be a mini research project, make it relate to the show. we listen to the show to get informed on the topic in the first place. if we're going to jump through a few flaming hoops, we may as well learn something else about the subject at hand.
