  Your project seems very interesting and I could see it working, even on a larger scale. Are you familiar with earthships? They are self sustainable homes made of trash. Equipped with solar power and food growing capabilities. I am signing up to go to a school to learn to build them. That's what I could contribute if for any reason it's needed. It would work best on actual land. Does the project have a name yet?

  In my part of the country, that kind of alternative and green architecture/construction is very popular (though I don't have the building skills myself). And I can see the concepts being adapted in some form on the water. Pretty cool.
