Re: Financial History: what are the greatest milestones and innovations?
I would note the dates of the rise and fall of each of the world reserve currencies over time.
I would also note 1971, the year Nixon took USD off the gold standard.

Re: What are you currently mining?
Just BTC and NMC for me. And, at this point, just dust (35 ghs). But, it took so long to get my BFL rigs, I'm running them until they disintegrate. I like the idea of performing a service for the community, even if miniscule at this point given the difficulty level. And, fortunately, the electricity is free.

Re: What's your favorite Wallet?
I run a BTC QT wallet 24/7/365 on an otherwise unused desktop. Just let it run in the corner of my office (you can see it in my profile pic). No balance, but would use in an emergency.
I like Armory and Hive concepts, but waiting for a dark wallet.
I use an online wallet for purchases and keep a small amount of coin there (not disclosing name for security reasons). Otherwise, cold storage.

Re: First round of improvements for LTB iOS App - Chime in!
Honestly, I thought this first version was really excellent. A couple of comments are listed below, but the look and feel was nice and intuitive. I really like the drag and drop podcast option. The list of updates for version two also look very good. I'm a fan.
Comments:
+1 to the comment to see LTBcoin balance;
I would like to be able to see my wallet address upon selection, if manageable;
The gear icon in the upper right goes to a screen that shows listened to podcasts (I believe). I would think it would be a profile/settings tool as that icon is commonly used for. I don't see an option for profile/account changes.
Other than that, I'm really impressed. This was a really well done app.

Re: Get your LTBCOIN Address Now!
Looking for a bit of clarification on the counterwallet address. When I created my account, only one address option appeared with BTC and XCP token balances. There didn't appear to be any option for LTBcoin. I created a second address and used that as my LTBcoin address, but, again, the appearance is that only BTC and XCP are supported. What am I missing?
EDIT: found the following post very helpful:

based on this, looks like I did it right. Thanks!

Re: What have you bought with bitcoin?
Paper wallet kit. Amazon gift cards. Silver from Amagi.
Working on my favorite local restaurant and they are doing their due diligence. Very receptive.

Re: Right time to buy in some Bitcoin
By "don't copy while the client is running" do you mean updating? As long as the client is synched and up-to-date, there shouldn't be any issue with using the backup wallet function within the client to save to an external device as a backup, or should there?
