  • Re: AUCTION VENDING MACHINES ARE NOW OPERATIONAL

I was thinking about creating an auction for a tangible object (e.g. A physical silver coin).

The auction form is clear and intuitive until you get to the bottom where is asks for "Winnings" and "Winning Token Type".

Are these optional depending on the type of item being sold. If not, what should I include, if I am selling something tangible and the bidding token is LBTC ?

  • Re: Untradable Token?

I appreciate these replies. Maybe go a slightly different direction:

Assuming there is no way to keep from trading, is it possible to create an app that would monitor the blockchain and ping me if a particular token was transferred out of a watched address?

  • Re: Untradable Token?

For example, you would like to set up a program with various levels, each with its own unique token, but you don't want the tokens to be traded because recipients have to use them to obtain the next level. For whatever reason, you don't want someone to be able to skip by buying levels.

  • Untradable Token?

Is it possible to create a token that cannot be burned or traded once distributed? Or, perhaps, with levels of rights which could include being tradable or not?

I can see a couple of applications, but more on that depending on the answer.

    @mikerbiker6

Where do you see this 400 mark? We just need to maintain #1 untill the end of the week I believe.

I noticed that all the previous coins voted I had greater than 400 votes. Didn't seem like a coincidence. No coins were chosen at end of last week, despite three being over 300.

That said, I don't know for sure. Just speculating based on what I see.

Anyone know happened to this podcast?

    Missing the podcaster's perspective.

  • Re: We need your vote

Now #1 on cryptoine with 298 votes, but will need over 400 to be picked up. Keep up the daily voting.

    Congrats Amy!

  • Re: Did Adam make YouTube add a tipping feature?

At 5% + $0.21, I'm betting that they are actually raking in more than the average tip amount.

  • Re: how tough should the magic words be?

I second the notion that the magic word should have some relevance to the material in the particular podcast. Reward those who actually listen. Use an obscure word or ask the person being interviewed a unique question (e.g. Favorite comic book hero), and use that as the word. Or, like MMM, spread it out throughout the cast.
