@jayek Posted to reddit. :)
Thanks! So I guess that means you're now the guy running the auction for Adam?
Well, I never planned to have a spot on the show, but since no one has bid yet, I'll start it off at 10K LTBc.
That's correct. At least for this particular auction I am filling in for Adam.
You are currently the highest bidder at 10k LTBc. Thanks for starting us off.

Re: [NEW SHOW FORMING - APPLICANTS NEEDED] NAME THAT BLOCKCHAIN!
I definitely want to see this happen. I'll gladly take on any non-technical roles that we have a hard time filling. I'm typically a jack-of-all-trades type of guy, so I can provide backup on a lot of different fronts.

[CLOSED][Auction] Air time on Let's Talk Bitcoin! Two 45 Second Sponsorship Slots for Episode 128 due to air 7/18. Auction Closes at Noon on 7/17! (12:00 pm PST) Final Bid(s): 31,000 / 30,250 LTBc
Sponsor everybody's favorite bitcoin podcast with LTBc in episode 128 set to debut this Friday, July the 18th!
Current High Bid(s): 30,250 / 20,500 LTBc
Number of Bids: 11
Final (official) Standings:
- Slot 1: 31,000 LTBc from @strip for Bitshares
- Slot 2: 30,250 LTBc from @bcohen for Myriad/Bitofthis LTB Ad Broker (75/25 split)
- First Runner-up: 20,000 LTBc from @prismicide
- Second Runner-up: 17,000 LTBc from @CoinFire for Coin Fire (thanks again, bud)
Other previous bidders: @dgiors and @robmitchell
If you look through the thread, you will notice that there was an additional bid at 12:00 for 32,000. the tl;dr is that this bid was valid because it was time stamped 12:00. If it had been 12:01 then it would not be valid. However, being a standup guy, @coinfire agreed to concede his bid to @bcohen for reasons mentioned in my final post. Thanks for your cooperation and congratulations to the winners!
Up for auction are two (2) blocks of forty-five (45) second intervals in this week's second episode of Let's Talk Bitcoin! Episode 128 will be released on Friday the 18th, and whether or not your business/project will be a part of it is up to you.
This auction will end at noon (12:00 PM) Pacific Time on Thursday, July the 17th. Any bids submitted after that time but before closure of this thread will not be considered. A bid on the close (in this case, 12:00 PM) is a valid bid however 12:01 is not. Times are recorded based on official post time stamp. The top two overall bids in the thread will be awarded slots 1 and 2 respectively.
What exactly am I bidding on?
The two slots fill scheduled breaks in the episode. Adam will do his own research on your business/project and will spend approximately 45 seconds talking about what you do. Adam reserves the right to veto any winning bids if he feels that doing a live read for your project would not be mutually beneficial. No scripts will be accepted. If you want him to focus on a particular area of your project, mention it with your bid.
Please state your bid in LTBc along with what project you are bidding on behalf of.
Please note that you will receive no editorial control for your winning bid. The live read will be approximately 45 seconds but no guarantees are made for it to be exactly that length.
What if I'm the winning bid?
After you receive confirmation that you have won, please remit payment in LTBc to the following address: 16mtsJE29zY5Rw2c4XunVFeg7DmbGedS9M
What kinds of people sponsor the show?
Lots of people! Here are a few of our recent sponsors:
- Bitofthis LTB Ad Broker - http://www.bitofthis.com/ltb-advertising-broker.html
- Coin Fire - http://coinfire.cf/
- ShinyBadges - http://muslimagorist.com/products/shiny-badges
- Brawker - https://brawker.com/
- Bitcoin Foundation - https://bitcoinfoundation.org/
- Crypto for Change Blog
- Bitcoin Megaphone - http://bitcoinmegaphone.com/
- Bitmain No-preorder ASICs - https://bitmaintech.com/
- You! (hopefully, anyway...)
But I'm new to LTB, I don't have any LTBcoin!
Well, you can purchase it from the private market currently either at Melotic (https://www.melotic.com/markets/ltbcoin-btc) or through a Counterparty Counterwallet (https://www.counterparty.co/ and https://counterwallet.co/)
There are also LTB ad brokers such as Bitofthis which you can see was one of our previous sponsors! They will use their own LTBc reserves to bid on your behalf and the two of you can settle up later.
Feel free to ask for clarification on any of the above points, or any other questions you may have in this thread. I will do my best to respond as quickly as possible.

Re: [LTB][HIRING 10% Commission] LTB Auction Manager 10,000LTBC performance bonus
@mjroncone If you're still looking for someone, I wouldn't mind giving it a test run either. You could say that my current employment has pretty similar responsibilities.
Ok! You've got the Saturday show, e128 - Two 45 second slots, please make a new thread for that specific auction.
Sounds good, I'll put it out as well as continue my editing when I get back to my station later today.

Re: ltbcoin is junk
Agreed - I haven't run into any problems with the LTB site, so if you could elaborate on those I would like to hear them.
As for CounterParty - They have a lot of work to do yet, it's a complex system.

Re: [25k LTBc][EDITING REQUEST] Token Controlled Viewpoint - Genesis, Characteristics and Early Use Cases
@adam If you weren't already aware, it looks like the system kicked out three 0 transactions earlier.

I'm just assuming this was from you, since it happened shortly after we edited the piece and there are specifically three addresses that received 0's. Also, the address was credited with 25k then sent it back.
I don't particularly mind, I was just trying to figure out where I had gotten a 0 transaction from today.
