Hey guys/gals, my name is Matt and I've been studying bitcoin behind the scenes since it's 2010. I'm a materials scientist, UI/UX designer and entrepreneur. I formally worked as a process engineer specializing in the development of thin film material.
In a recent former life I worked in a team of two to develop a hybrid social network that combined core attributes of twitter and facebook into a localized network. Unfortunately, the idea never took as it happens with most social startups. Since then I've spent a large amount of my time studying cryptocurrencies and the problems we need to solve in order to eliminate friction in adoption. I feel the world needs easier ways to mine cryptographic currencies that are outside of computational mining, which is what has led me to LTBcoin.

The big problem is those who built the education system did so for control, and have a vested interest in maintaining it. It is a true zero sum gain scenario. Funny how this issue parallels in our current world's financial system. Its almost as if the same people. . .
If you want more understanding about the current education system just research the history of the Prussian Education System and how it became adopted in the US.
What I want to figure out is how to take the strengths of Bitcoin and use it to drive the divergent thinking of education we desperately need.

Ultimately this is want I'm very passionate about trying to remove rock in the way of people's paths. There are so many people out there that are incredibly gifted, but lack certain skills (education) or resources in order to change their situation. With the technology being developed today things can radically change for the less fortunate if the systems they're comprised of are implemented properly and the less fortunate have acces to these systems. Education is a necessity and money is a resource, by depriving people of such you affect everything in their lives. There is so much hidden value or meta-value just waiting to be realized, until Cryptocurrency we never had a way to properly graph it. Now we do and people who are no smarter than us can do the same. Did you know only a third of the world has access to the internet? What if there was a coin to solve that very problem, people share their wifi connection and in return they are distributed coins each week. This technology can be built now.

@adam and I were discussing this today actually. I'd love to hear what everyone thinks about this. I can't promise it would be anytime soon with everything going on, this is a big undertaking. It might be more functional as it's own app vs. integration with the current iOS app. Thoughts?

By "intro" I meant someone introducing the artist so users would know who they're listening to. Not necessarily intro to the show. Outro is a great idea though.
With all the bands and musicians that exist in the world begging to be heard by the masses today, why not offer musicians ad-space in podcasts? Instead of hearing an ad you hear a short intro and music from a new band for 30-45 seconds. Thoughts?
