Re: How Does this Work? Let's Talk User Experiance!
lostdroid said: What about an Android version? It's possible that a lot of Bitcoin enthusiasts could switch to Android due to Apple's recent policies on Bitcoin. I have done some Android development myself and although I probably don't have the time to take on the development of a full App I would be interested in some contribution.
Yes! the android version will have more features and be able to act as a full Bitcoin/LTBcoin wallet whereas the iOS is just a player that has tip information etc.
What about deploying the iOS app the pheeva route?

This looks great, Adam!Ruben, what do you think about an LTBcoin imbued version of helpmewrite.co where somebody proposes an idea, people send LTBcoin to it and when somebody writes about it in a way that gets published the writer gets the bounty and the idea poster gets a 10% cut or something?
Proof-of-idea?

Small fee for downloads, gets paid back to the creator?

Re: How many total LTBcoins should there be?
Ultimately this is competing in some way with Dogecoin in the tipping market and it seems to be working for them.
I think the more coins the better, it's all relative anyways, it's just easier to compute in your head.
Spamcoins only seem like spamcoins because they are in fact spamcoins,
LTBcoin is not and the community will know that, seems like they already do.Posted on March 11, 2014 at 4:33 AM

Re: LTBcoin Art
Everything is going to "Flat Design" now, maybe the logo should?
Facebook just updated today as "semi-flat"
Flat looks friendlier and more legitimate to me.Posted on March 11, 2014 at 3:04 AM

Adam said: Yes to having an awesome app and using LTB rewards to incentivize exploration, but we're not abandoning the web - this is just in addition to our new web platform.
Nick has been working on the backend for the last month+, I'm supposed to get with Texture to work on the visual design pretty much ASAP and that should be ready to go sooner rather than later.
Also, I was approached by a competitor of soundclouds recently and I told them "If you guys can build everything I want for tipping and affiliate compensation into your widget, we'll swap our whole network" - They took a week to think about it, wrote me back a few days ago that they're in. So that is AWESOME.Wow... thats even more awesome!
Ok this might be down the road, but what about voice messaging system? Where users could send voice memos back and forth and even just publish publicly, could have a snapchat type addition as well? I know you can do this with soundcloud, but its not its purpose it feels more like a consuming platform. I think the community really wants to hear what everyone is talking about. People could easily record and publish meetups, conversations to the entire network, making the whole community much more inter-twined.
And yes don't ditch web completely, but building an app is going to push the network much much further, I didn't believe it until 2012.
Do you need help throwing together some wireframes? checkout https://gomockingbird.com/mockingbird/ <- awesome
Additional thoughts:-Time sensitive content? (Content can't be shared outside of network for a certain period of time)-Time destroyed content? (Similar to snapchat - can be viewed once then destroyed)-Collaborative content? (Content is labeled and can be used for collaboration on shows - interviews, solos, videos, pictures, etc.)
Uh... still churningPosted on March 11, 2014 at 12:30 AM

Short PowerPoint on LTBcoin, need help putting together.
Hey everyone I was wondering if we could collaboratively put together a presentation outlining LTBcoin in its most simple form.
I have a Bitcoin meetup in Charlotte, NC on sunday and I'd like to share LTBcoin with the meetup group.
Here's a summary I had in mind.
Who created LTBcoin? (Not a scam)What is LTBcoin and why do we need it?How is it LTBcoin different from Bitcoin? How does I make LTBcoin? How do I get involved with the LTBcoin network? The future.Why/how you can get involved. Here's the link to powerpoint presentation that we can all edit, please do not distribute this link outside the community.

mjdecour said: Ok wow that's awesome this is sounds great so far. So glad to know this is going the mobile direction, web is dying fast.
I love the idea of the pushing content to the entire network via gamification, but it you want to gamify it needs to have a good social core.
What about a RT feature? I think if you really want to get 2.0 with this the user experience should be social. The bitcoin community doesn't have a great mobile social platform outside of twitter this could be connected to twitter and facebook so users can still push content to other networks, but given the amount of exclusive content that will be generated on LTB it would make sense for it to have its own social platform, which will help the network as whole generate great content. It would really allow the inside network to be in the know before other networks, making LTB more valuable to users.
Not to mention it would help users to generate LTBcoins by a variety of avenues you could implement.
What about easter eggs inside the app that are like little treasure chests? We could add elements into shows that lead them to secrets buried inside the app, so users are more intrigued to listen to content in search of clues. Not to mention they'll have to be paying attention.
I'm kinda envisioning a soundcloud type system with more social elements.
Formatting on that post messed up after editing for some reason.
