Everything is going to "Flat Design" now, maybe the logo should?
Facebook just updated today as "semi-flat"
Flat looks friendlier and more legitimate to me.

"Flat" might be a good look for the "CryptoCoin 2.0" "movement" that we're seeing now..
One thought on the wording: having the words Honesty, Quality, and Choice - especially Honesty - may be seen as an appeal to authority, which could lead to misunderstandings around LTBcoin being a pump-and-dump, and other bad/false marketing that we don't want associated with LTBcoin or LTB in general.
Words like de-centralized and community might express our values more accurately..Just my 2 cents-CC0 likes -

The current logo has already been used in the bitcoin magazine article, so I guess the design is fixed.
But I too would prefer a flat and simple logo, here's a suggestion from my side:

I don't think that any of these words ("Honesty", "Quality" etc.) need to be part of the logo.
They can go into a tagline / mission statement / mantra but in my opinion the logo should be totally simple and reduced.0 likes -

The art was really temporary :) Came up with it with Rob overnight.

I like having both a "flat" and one that looks more like a three dimensional coin. As far as "mission statement words" go, I'm kind of torn. Plastering "Honesty" just strikes a strange tone to my mind. Like who wouldn't claim to be honest. At the same time if honesty is a central focus, maybe it should be on there. I guess what I am saying is that at first exposure it triggers my "yeah sure" cynicism response and I think I wouldn't be the only one.

Definitely leaning towards @max design for a logo. A simple and flat logo looks really cool.

I agree with Max, the design of the coin should be as simple as possible with the tag line below it.
