The question was whether to allow downloads in the smart phone app, but your point is taken.

Quite honestly, I could see myself spending a good chunk of my time either working within the LTB network or being a user. I like the features of this app. To allow downloads? Hmm. I say yes, because data is expensive, and some people are constantly listening to audio content. At my previous job, I worked at a bank and had my headphones in my ears at all times, listening to LTB, FTL, and other podcasts. However, I don't know what it takes to make downloadable content possible from the other creator side. I guess that's something to think about. Or, if you could somehow work with podcatcher apps? I'm not sure.

Downloadable is just a decision, our audio providers give us unlimited bandwidth. If you think about it, streaming IS downloading you just don't save it for offline play.

it should be fairly trivial to just throw a download link wherever as long as we have the URLs for the mp3 files :p

Small fee for downloads, gets paid back to the creator?

This looks great, Adam!Ruben, what do you think about an LTBcoin imbued version of helpmewrite.co where somebody proposes an idea, people send LTBcoin to it and when somebody writes about it in a way that gets published the writer gets the bounty and the idea poster gets a 10% cut or something?
Proof-of-idea?

What about an Android version? It's possible that a lot of Bitcoin enthusiasts could switch to Android due to Apple's recent policies on Bitcoin. I have done some Android development myself and although I probably don't have the time to take on the development of a full App I would be interested in some contribution.
