Re: Cryptsy and Stolen Funds
It's considered a best practice to not store coins with online keys. Therefor I consider this a non-event with respect to confidence in bitcoin. Coins have been stolen and will always be stolen, keys without backups may be lost rendering access impossible forever, but no coin has ever been "lost" out of the system.
With respect and empathy to those who lost money, was there anything special about cryptsy which warranted extra trust? It's certainly not the first inside job. That is, is it the same lesson being taught again, or is there a new lesson to learn?

Looking for LTBC guest from Bangalore
Guy in Bangalore was interviewed a few months ago by Adam i think. Subjects that came up were how btc could help with corruption, remittance, and the bpo angle providing customer support reps for btc startups. I'm keen on these subjects and I'd like to connect with that man! Can anyone recall the guy or the episode? thanks!

Re: Earn LTBC by Publishing Your Writings for LTB! All accounts now may compose and submit articles for the front page - Walkthrough inside!
@Adam, is there a way to edit out my glaring grammar typo in the third sentence of my published submission? Or does publishing mean lockdown? (This is fun!)

Re: DEVELOPMENT REQUEST - "Jobs" platform and the Transcription Experiment
a business process outsourcing company. lots of people with desks, PCs, and phones.
btw, if any startup wants to outsource a techsupport rep or cust support agents, we accept btc. to advertise this more widely (on the ltb show) i wonder how much ltbcoin i need to amass, as measured in episode transcriptions for example, to get an ad out?

Re: DEVELOPMENT REQUEST - "Jobs" platform and the Transcription Experiment
Hi Adam, I have a BPO. Approx how many shows would need to be transcribed to earn enough LTBC to put a spot into LTB advertising same BPO?

Getting crypto into (and out of) facebook
I'd like to keep abreast of cryptocurrency availability within or convenient for facebook users. Is anyone else paying attention? Are there crypto facebok apps (fb api)? Does fb frown on them in order to protect users from being scam-prey? Do you imagine a tipping scheme ever coming into play? What do you imagine? (I'd rather get 25c than a poke.) I believe the cloud that is fb can be seeded with a campaign that allows coinholders to tip non-holders in a pay-iy-forward style to spread a currency. ChangeTip works well in twitter. Could it work in fb? I'd enjoy brainstorming about this with you all.

Anyone in Tokyo or Osaka interested in pursuing a project after swapping ideas?
Besides my own ideas for projects I have many resources and skills. Are there any english speakers in Japan that would like to exchange feedback on possible projects ideas?

Re: Investment strategies with the long term in mind
@brenner100 buy BTC and LTC and you have the best cryptos out there. when you hold btc, its a bet on the whole ecosystem.
not only that, but i dont see how any new coin could come into existence from this point forward. there doomed out of hand if they are created by or "sponsored" by a company or govt. and they will be instantly suspect of pump/dump. so btc and ltc are the only platforms left that came into being organically. it seems to be too late for any new organic coin. even something amazing as etherium is having trouble navigating the path to emerge as organic.
aaaaaand, i could be wrong. there is always the AOL crowd that could possibly crawl all over each other to get some applecoins. i wouldnt, but that doesnt matter- they might.
