Re: UTipdMe - A Cost-effective Tipping Solution for LTBcoin
@dpc Very cool & well thought out.
Where will the "ledger" live? On the host site, on the UTipdMe server?@troy112 I have a confusion, you said the credits and debits ledger will be maintained. Will this be maintained on the site? or on blockchain? Because to maintain it on block chain you'll have to spend BTCs or whatever coins.
And one more thing, the wallet will not be stored with UTipdMe , so where will be these hot wallets and cold wallets?
This will be an off-chain ledger. The ledger will live on the UTipdMe server. You will have the option to send coins to your Counterwallet and store them on-chain.

Re: UTipdMe - A Cost-effective Tipping Solution for LTBcoin
@belltown How do you solve the problem that counterparty has high transaction fee? Sorry I haven't red the Google doc yet.
The short answer is that it is an off-chain centralized service, like an exchange. So if you keep some LTBcoin in your UTipd account, you can tip LTBcoin back and forth with much lower fees than Counterparty.

UTipdMe - A Cost-effective Tipping Solution for LTBcoin
I am building a service I call UTipdMe. It is a centralized web-wallet for LTBcoin. It aims to be an inexpensive, convenient and fast way to tip LTBcoin to other users and content creators.
I'm a believer in LTBcoin and what we are doing here with the LTB platform. And this is something I really want for my LTBcoin and for other enterprises that I think will adopt this model.
The proposal can be found here:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1DO7U_yiBt9QQPyZU0i8wsuHHXMdrT14JltWKAc8nsSI/edit
The project will be entirely open source. I have been working on it for about a week and I will upload all the source code very soon.
I'm racing to finish a functional 1.0 release (a roadmap is coming!) ASAP. And then we can start looking at expanding and prioritizing additional features.
I welcome your feedback, ideas, criticisms and kudos.

Re: Technical Question: Should the website hold LTBcoin balances for users?
I'm working on a proposal for this right now. We want a solution that is secure and convenient as possible, and those are often competing objectives.

Re: The Red Pill Episode
I love the idea of a special introduce-your-friends-to-bitcoin product.
One of the big "a ha" moments for me in understanding the relevance of bitcoin was when I became educated on how fiat currency actually works in my country. When I really got it was when I learned the practical differences between an inflationary currency and a deflationary one. And when I learned that my US Dollar was most definitely not the latter, I started to really grasp the importance of bitcoin.

Re: JEDI, how can we innovate radio?
Radio listener metrics are very hard to measure. How many people listened to your show? Who knows.
With a crypto-rewards program, people might engage more to earn coins. This would make radio ratings much easier to measure and more accurate.
So, yeah, let's expand into radio!

Re: [10000 LTBC Brainstorm] My Grand Plan and How should we market the LTB Network?
@mich Here's a thought. It's as if you had reddit karma that you could freely give to other people. Or facebook likes. Or twitter stars or Tumblr hearts. The more likes you get, the more likes you can send to others in exchange for posting something you thought deserved more. It takes normal site reward systems, and then frees the user to actually DO something with them.
I like the idea of karma with added utility. Call it karma 2.0, if you will.
For me, the simplest implementation of this is to marry micro-tips with up-votes or likes. If my up-vote also involved a tip, then I think up-votes would have added meaning.
I would tip all 10 LTBcoin along with an up-vote without even thinking twice about it. This assumes, of course, tipping had no fees and was instant - but that is another discussion. :)

Re: Crowdfund an LTBcoin Project
Yeah, think of it as a guaranteed tip. LTBCOIN is a crypto-rewards program after all.
This forum is also a place to fly by some ideas and see if there is interest.
