I am building a service I call UTipdMe. It is a centralized web-wallet for LTBcoin. It aims to be an inexpensive, convenient and fast way to tip LTBcoin to other users and content creators.

I'm a believer in LTBcoin and what we are doing here with the LTB platform. And this is something I really want for my LTBcoin and for other enterprises that I think will adopt this model.

The project will be entirely open source. I have been working on it for about a week and I will upload all the source code very soon.

I'm racing to finish a functional 1.0 release (a roadmap is coming!) ASAP. And then we can start looking at expanding and prioritizing additional features.

I welcome your feedback, ideas, criticisms and kudos.

  Kudos @deweller for this phenomenal proposal! I especially love the idea +1 LTBc for a "like" or "upvote". This is a pretty awesome idea that will no doubt benefit the entire LTBc ecosystem.

  Excited to see this. Having to pay BTC to send out the LTBC for our signature campaign really stinks so this could be really awesome.

  How do you solve the problem that counterparty has high transaction fee? Sorry I haven't red the Google doc yet.

  @belltown TL;DR UTipdMe does use the blockchain. It manages a ledger of debits and credits where tipping just debits an user account and credits the receiver.

  The short answer is that it is an off-chain centralized service, like an exchange. So if you keep some LTBcoin in your UTipd account, you can tip LTBcoin back and forth with much lower fees than Counterparty.

  This looks good. I wish there was a better non centralized approach but anything at this point to help the economy grow. I think tipping will start to be really big once people realize all of it's applications.
