Yep. I see 2 sales for 999. I was expecting a bid/ask chart, so I didn't look closely enough to see that they were completed orders.

I see your 999 bid now.
I'm finding counterparty to be very rough around the edges. I'm sure that is to be expected at this stage.
But I'm not sure that counterpary is going to be ready for a 1.0 when LTBcoin wants to launch.Posted on March 28, 2014 at 8:05 PM

Re: The 24-hour auction selling seats on Saturday's hangout for LTBCOINTEST begins now!
I placed a buy order and the order is now active.
It looks like the View Prices tab is still not working. I see "No market price data exists for this asset pair." when I choose LTBCOINTEST and LTBCOINSEAT in the View Prices tab.Posted on March 28, 2014 at 4:39 PM

Re: DEVELOPER REQUESTED for MVP: Pay-To-Display service
Quick Update: Yes, it appears you can send and recall, then send and recall the same asset as many times as needed without paying XCP.
But the minimum date can only be set once. So there is no blockchain enforcement that you won't recall the asset at any time. You can, however, change the description. So you could change the description to "LTBcoin Invite (exp. 3/27/14 22:00 UTC)"Posted on March 27, 2014 at 9:38 PM

Re: Local Currencies?
User-generated or local currencies is one of the functions of meta-coin protocols such as counterparty, mastercoin and others.
Ripple can also do this and has a fully functioning distributed exchange for trading one currency for another.Posted on March 27, 2014 at 9:06 PM

Re: DEVELOPER REQUESTED for MVP: Pay-To-Display service
I have a suggestion. Instead of making multiple assets, just create one asset named LTBCOINSEAT. You can make the asset expire after a certain date by making it "callable" and setting a callable price of 0 XCP.
Here is my reasoningIssuing a new asset costs money (about $12 - although this may drop to $1.2 soon)
It is easier to remember a single asset name rather than multiple assetsWe don't want to pollute the global counterparty asset listI believe you can create and callback the same asset over and over again. I'm testing this theory now on the testnet.Posted on March 27, 2014 at 8:17 PM

Re: DEVELOPER REQUESTED for MVP: Pay-To-Display service
Very cool.
I'm putting together an MVP of the app that we've spec'd out here. That is still something we need, right?Posted on March 27, 2014 at 12:52 PM
