Re: 2FA?
@exhaustedcover I would love 2FA. I'm glad to see more and more sites getting into it. If it is used, please make sure to allow for google authenticator. I know some sites will pick something like Authy only.
Google auth is what I was thinking as well. We could also do email 2FA, but that isnt quite as secure

Re: 2FA?
@mandrake Fantastic, I think every LTB user should use 2FA to avoid getting their LTB account hijacked. Please if possible send out some news feed to us LTB users when 2FA is available.
Well for one, they wouldnt be able to do much except for impersonate you or maybe swap your LTBcoin payment address (we dont hold on to any peoples funds or act as a web wallet here). But yes, a notification will be sent out

Re: LTB / Tokenly Platform Updates
Updates from today:
- Fixed a bug where the dashboard complains that you havn't registered an LTBcoin address if your profile was set to private
- Your "LTBcoin Compatible Address" can now be found in your Account Settings instead of profile (and thus requires password to change)
- Attempted a fix for the occasional 403 Forbidden errors that some people have been getting (let me know if you still get this!)
- Spent some time seriously optimizing the site, like an 80% improvement (mostly less database hits and external requests). You might notice that pages are loading much faster now

Re: Get your LTBCOIN Address Now!
@sir-real So.... is the bitcoin address I got from counterwallet.co the address that somehow recieves LTB COIN? I also see a place under account settings for "LTBcoin compatible address".... is that something different from the one I got from countewallet.co? I know the instructions say add the address from counterwallet.co to my PROFILE page and that's it... but then.... where do the LTBcoins go? to that bitcoin address?
yep you are on the right track. LTBcoins will show up in your counterwallet.co bitcoin address. Next distribution is this coming saturday so you should receive some then!

Re: Public
@dirtyboots702 I think I had my profile private until the LTBCoin program and had to make public to participate.
thats just the bug telling you that you havnt signed up yet when you actually have. You can still have a private profile and receive ltbcoin, just need to fix that message

Re: Setting up a Bitcoin tip-jar
@cryptonaut do you care about knowing what pages or posts the tips came from? If not, you could just make a new bitcoin address and paste it wherever for the easiest solution
I think that would be incredibly interesting. It would be nice to see who contributed the most, what kinds of discussions encouraged the most tipping, and so on. Obviously that would be a more complicated solution, more than I can do, but it would be really nice.
It just depends on what kind of scale we are talking about here. If you are pumping out tons of content, you might want some automated way to generate addresses (or pick from a pre-generated list) which could attach to each page or post.
Otherwise, what you could do is just generate a unique bitcoin address for each page you want and either assign a label to it (if your bitcoin wallet has this feature - like Electrum) or setup a spreadsheet for tracking whats what. A bit of a manual process, but its doable
