Are there any plans for introducing 2FA for logging in to a LTB account? It would be very much appreciated if this could be added for example using Google Authenticator

Sure, we can add that in to the "to do" list as an option for users! Stay tuned
(also moving this to LTB platform support)

Fantastic, I think every LTB user should use 2FA to avoid getting their LTB account hijacked. Please if possible send out some news feed to us LTB users when 2FA is available.

Well for one, they wouldnt be able to do much except for impersonate you or maybe swap your LTBcoin payment address (we dont hold on to any peoples funds or act as a web wallet here). But yes, a notification will be sent out

I would love 2FA. I'm glad to see more and more sites getting into it. If it is used, please make sure to allow for google authenticator. I know some sites will pick something like Authy only.

Google auth is what I was thinking as well. We could also do email 2FA, but that isnt quite as secure

I second the 2FA suggestion.
However, I seem to recall a LTB podcast episode with a discussion about a "less than random" issue in Google Authenticator. Perhaps that was an old issue and fixed long ago. Can anyone point out any background links on that situation? It seems most do trust and have confidence in Google Auth. Does anyone see any issues with it?
Thanks.

+1 on Google Authenticator. Email auth isn't terrible, but Google Authenticator is harder to break into since the attacker has to physically have your phone, rather than just compromise your email account.

@IvanB 2FA on your email is important as well. Cheers.

I completely agree. Email security is critical - probably only second to blockchain security. I'd rather have strong security on my email account than on my bank account if I only had to pick one.
