Re: LTB #139 The Validity of Appcoins Discussion
@wct296 They should have online voting for the debate and the winning team gets more ltbcoin make it more competitive
this would be cool, except for this specific debate because the opposing side absolutely hates appcoins & altcoins and think LTBcoin is pointless :p

Re: [WE NEED TO TAKE ACTION] How shall we fight those spammers ?
@littleshibe Drop the banhammer heavy and don't look back, I was enjoying this place but its turning into nothing but spam to sift through.
try using the "Filter Boards" feature. If you filter out some of the non-english boards (e.g indonesia) then its not so bad actually
Brother, the spam is everywhere, not only in the "Indonesian" forum.
Right now I just have the boards for "The Bazaar", "Content Garden" and "Audience Hall" sections checked off and my "Recent Posts" area isnt looking too bad. But yeah I agree

Re: Understanding Counterparty's Bitcoin costs
Every counterparty transaction uses 3 main amounts:
1) 0.000078 BTC output to the address you are sending to 2) another 0.000078 which actually goes back to your address 3) 0.0001 BTC for the miners fee.
the 0.000078 number is actually nothing special. There just needs to be some dust amount of BTC which gets sent to the other persons address. That is the number that counterwallet uses, but technically it can be whatever you want (or whatever you can get away with and still have the transaction confirmed by miners). For instance, in the weekly automated LTBcoin distributions, each transaction uses something like 0.000025 BTC instead

@hesham3del Yes, like new comers, have 6 minutes wait time between each post, then if they reach x amount of posts it decrease, till there be no wait time at all.
hmm maybe. I will take it into consideration

@cryptonaut Lets keep brainstorming on the questionnaire idea etc.. in the meantime I am going to work on cooking up some improved moderator controls so we can deal with this stuff easier and without a billion email notifications to everyone :)
What about the wait time, you ignored me btw :P
dealing with total notification overload right now, sorry lol.
do you mean wait time as in making users wait a while before they can start posting?
