While most altcoins are getting slaughtered, LTC shines propelled higher by Litepay and a new fork. Bitcoin continues its gains as well but stopped short of a new rally. Bitcoin Higher but Stops Short of New Rally Bitcoin prices traded even higher si...

Re: SJCX aka Storj project
Free.. maybe you should thank @cryptonaut ?
(I think it was he who sent out the 5 SJCX tokens to us)
yep!
Thank you!
How deep have you researched into this project? I'm curious whether people can create their own projects that use decentralized file sharing combined with other features. And if we can use parts of that code, would it be with separate coins, the SJCX tokens, or if their should be a preference for one if either can be used?
Honestly, I havnt done a ton of research into it at all. I think its a really cool concept, so I spent only 0.1 BTC to see where it goes :p. If it ends up crashing and burning, not really much of a loss for me. I could definitely imagine some applications that integrate both with storj and bitcoin etc.

Re: https
@Rob , for the notifications - noted. I agree password protected account settings should also give you an email.
getting HTTPS set up is on our list to do fairly soon. In regards to some of the earlier comments in this thread, as a web developer, HTTPS is most definitely far far better than regular HTTP. It's not perfect, and you still have to trust the certificate authorities, but it is much better than just sending everything over the web un-encrypted.
We also are purposely not holding any bitcoin wallets etc. on the website, so our security risk is actually pretty low. Pretty much the only actual sensitive information we are holding (currently) is password hashes for peoples accounts, but even if someone got a hold of that it would be pretty much useless.

Re: The forum has changed for the better because of LTBcoin
@kerneloops Agreed on all counts.
/r/bitcoin, bitcointalk.org et al. all have seriously knowledgable people, however, there are lot of egos floating around, and fortunately we haven't seen that on LTB.
they are also both run and started by pretty much the same small group of people. remember how theymos has like 3,000 BTC that hes just holding on to but is supposed to be building a new forum system with it?

Re: LTB / Tokenly Platform Updates
Mostly been working on some new features for the site, but a couple more changes pushed up today:
- New options for admins so that we can help you out with your account easier (e.g if you need a username change etc.)
- Any "Likes" you receive on posts now go towards your weekly Proof of Participation rewards. So if you have a post that receives lots of likes, you get extra LTBcoin that week!
- In your account settings, you can now check off "receive occasional free tokens" to automatically sign up for our asset "drop list", where we occasionally give away free counterparty tokens either for testing or promotional purposes (or just being generous). Check this off if you like free stuff.

Re: When Will You Be Able to Buy a Big Mac with Bitcoin?
I think we will need some super simple to use PoS (point of sale) hardware for bitcoin on the market before this will happen.

Re: The forum has changed for the better because of LTBcoin
iv actually been pretty tired of bitcointalk and /r/bitcoin for a while now, but I have never found a single decently sized and active alternate community. Looks like this is becoming the new place to be :D

Re: Counterwallet Asset Drop List Signup
Hey guys, instead of posting in this thread, you can now just go into your account settings in your dashboard and check off "receive occasional free tokens" !
