  I had been a long time listener and lurker but hadn't really thought much of actually checking the website until the coin was announced. Out of curiosity I checked it out and thought it couldn't hurt to join a new community.

  One of the coolest things though was just how wonderful this community is. I came for the coin, I stay because I really enjoy the discussions, the thoughts from others, and now even extending to a wonderful IRC room.

  This community is quickly growing and I am really happy to be part of it.

  iv actually been pretty tired of bitcointalk and /r/bitcoin for a while now, but I have never found a single decently sized and active alternate community. Looks like this is becoming the new place to be :D

  @kerneloops Agreed on all counts.

  /r/bitcoin, bitcointalk.org et al. all have seriously knowledgable people, however, there are lot of egos floating around, and fortunately we haven't seen that on LTB.

  they are also both run and started by pretty much the same small group of people. remember how theymos has like 3,000 BTC that hes just holding on to but is supposed to be building a new forum system with it?

  You are kidding, right? This place is driven by egos. Healthy egos.

  Thank goodness we have enough ego to want to contribute, to think we have something to contribute and thanks to the encouragement of Coach Levine, our egos can flourish.

  Glad to be here.

  My first favourite place to hang out is The Bitcoin Foundation because there are also many talented people interested in Bitcoin's success.

  I love our community, but lets be clear - we're our own little echo chamber. The point of what we're doing here is to entice more people to make our echo-chamber more representative of the reality we wish to create.

  Somehow I am much more interested in the site :-)

  It's great to see the community who've this way.

  I travel a lot and I am a point whore. I only go to one type of hotel, fly one carrier and drive one type of rental car.

  It's strange it took the internet so long to develops this type of loyalty program.

  Adam, the key for success is going to assure that we can redeem these coins for something valuable. I have no clue how this can work but it's a key ingredient I think that's missing so far.

  I look forward to the next chapters

  I will. I have been an avid podcast follower and now because of the coin I hang around here every day instead of other bitcoin news sites first.

  I appreciate the quality of content you guys produce and how u bring the industry forward
