• A warning to spammers

  I have been receiving an absurd amount of spam reports, almost all of them originating from this board. It is getting ridiculous guys.

  Please be aware that if you continue to spam and post off topic nonsense, you WILL be banned. Any posts flagged as spam will also be deleted, which directly reduces the amount of LTBcoin you will receive, and if enough of your posts get deleted, you will get zero LTBcoin at all.

  You have been warned.

  PS: Can somebody translate this for me?

  Yeah, the amount of spam is getting a little bit ridiculous. And whats with so much of it coming from the indonesia forum?

  There already is email verification required on new accounts, as well as captchas for registering (I dont think additional captchas for posting will help much). hmmm, tricky problem. Might have to unleash the ban hammer :)

  @cryptozio Why Petamine value continue to go down, is there some issue with them?

  Not really sure. As far as I can tell its mostly because the dividends lately have been going a bit down, so the price has gone down with it.

  There was also a bit of a PR fiasco a few weeks ago where they basically told everyone that they were not going to move their hashing power to P2Pool (which was voted on a few months ago) due to it being more complicated than they thought, and it would also result in way lower dividends / greater variance. A bunch of people on reddit got pissed off and sold all their shares, driving the price down. Kind of ironic because if they did switch to P2Pool mining income would have dropped off quite a bit.

  @wildjo 1) I'm fine letting the petamine ride. Never going to see ROI, if we bail every time the grass looks greener elsewhere. Creating new token is easy. Let's just start a new one for the new opportunity and let the old one ride. Even if it's dust, I've learned from my Little miners that the dust adds up.

  2) the token balance reported on this site is stuck on the initial token amount. Interestingly, the distribution/earnings update, but only for that initial token purchase. However, if I go to my counterwallet, both the Petamine token balance and XBTC balance is the correct, higher amount.

  1) I tend to agree actually. Will have to give it some more thought. I was kind of thinking maybe a token that represents multiple investments, diversify a bit.

  2) yeah I noticed that to and have had a few other people report it. Il get it fixed shortly

  Eh, its hard to say kind of. When you burn a coin, you are basically taking it out of circulation, which effectively reduces the supply and speeds up the deflation. Theoretically, that could result in a higher price which is good for everybody, but its not guaranteed either. Holding/hoarding should have pretty much the same effect

  I think this would be a good idea. Better to have one thread for it than a bunch of random threads talking about price crashes / price spikes and random speculation etc.
