Re: Response to 2 phase mining. Episode 126.
I'm not sure I understand this idea properly. Each of the miners would mine for a pool like today but the pool operator needs to share the private key to the address that will recieve the funds if a block is found?
Doesn't that just make every single pool vulnurable to the degree where pools are useless? After all, the pool operator would not only have to trust the miners not to run off with the money but also trust them to handle their computer security properly, since if even a single miner is compromised then the entire pools income for the next block is compromised?
Maybe the details wasn't clear enough, or is there is a glaring security issue here in that people in general are not following even the most basic of security routines?

Re: Response to 2 phase mining. Episode 126.
The bank accounts on cyprus did not get emptied. They were locked for a period of time pending a decision on a ~10% deduction as a means to bail out failing banks. (If I remember correctly, the details are getting a bit blurred).

Re: [LTB][HIRING 10% Commission] LTB Auction Manager 10,000LTBC performance bonus
Handling auctions in a forum thread works, but I feel a proper auction interface would probably be better (at least in the long run) as that would free up time for marketing the auction instead of handling it.
Is this a temporary solution, or do you plan on sticking with a forum based auction for a long time?

Re: what does your tipping address reveal about you?
@odolvlobo Blockchain.info scrapes the bitcointalk forums for addresses in signatures and then labels the address with the poster's user name. At one point, I asked them to remove the label and they ignored me.
A more useful approach if you want them to stop is to falsify data so their scraping becomes a burden for them. For example, you could encourage multiple people to put the same address in their signatures or encourage people to put famous peoples addresses in their signatures.
In the long run though, the transparancy that's afforded by the blockchain should probably not be seen as a bad thing. Once we get rid of the monopoly on violence and fix the unfair transparancy balance between those in charge and those who are not we will most likely consider the transparancy to be a crucial component in staying free.

Re: What should be added to the forums?
@Cryptonaut You can count me towards the people who'd prefer IRC over skype, mainly because IRC works on all the platforms I use while skype doesn't.

Re: Do Intentions Matter? - Saturday Morning Musing
I'm just talking out of personal experience. When I'm put in positions where I want to move forward and explore possible futures and are met with diversions that goes against what I'm trying to achieve I tend to get demotivated. If it's just a few detractors here and there that takes my attention and tries to change the direction I'm heading I usually consider that valid and useful input. When there is more than just some occasions and starts to become a regular must-do-with thing I end up being less productive.
The most productive time I have ever had coding, for example, was when I had no job and only a few others who had similar mindsets to talk with. Everything rushed off in one direction and things just got done.

But I am concerned about you losing motivation and it is very likely that I am not alone with that concern.
(That said, I am not an overlord governing your life, I'm just giving out my opinions because I find it interesting to see what replies I get from doing so.)

Will you get burnt out and tired if you expend effort to maintain neutrality? if so, you're long-term commitment is likely to be valued higher than neutrality.
From my perspective the question is so broad that it might be worth pondering on what value any answer to it may actually give.
I do like neutrality but from a practical standpoint there could be issues. Getting demotivated from a too inconsistent network of ideas is one such issue that could, in theory, happen.
