  Need someone who is familiar with Markup and already is an editor on LTB.. and I assume you have the ability to edit these articles.

  Font Face, Size, Spacing need to be consistent (within each article--they can vary from article to article though).

  Paragraphs, Line breaks and Titles need to be inserted.

  This is a formatting only and not an "editing" gig

  Its about 10K LTBc per article (excluding one article with a minor request)

  You can do 4 at a time if you like and get rewarded 40K/40K

  Wow these are biggies!

  • Removed 4x multiplier for blog posts with podcasts in the Proof of Value calculations. Instead, podcasters now get extra points for every magic word submitted by a user.

  This makes sense. Looking forward to seeing how this works out.

  • Blog Editors now receive 20% of the points for both Proof of Quality/Publication and Proof of Value reports. As an editor, if you set the post status to either "Published" or "Editing/Processing", you automatically claim that post for editor rewards. An admin or chief editor can manually set the editor for each post.

  If I understand correctly, I make 80% for writing an article and editors receive 20%

  In some cases I would like to adjust higher. I have one article I am working on where the editor will receive 50% (they will probably be listed as a co-writer.) In the future it would be great to be able to adjust this amount and be able to split with other users "automagically." For now i'll work it out with the editors one on one.

  @rotalumis there shouldn't be (IMHO) non-english forums unless articles on the LTB platform are written in those languages. How do we know that these non-english threads have anything meaningful to say?

  well one could use http://translate.google.com

  I've actually tried to go on some of these threads and start a conversation using Google translate. THe conversation was a non-starter.

  Then watch the nonsense ESL (maybe we should call it GESL ---Google English Second Language) posted on the english speaking forums.

  I have't received any new shows from LTB Network since 8/19/2014 I use http://www.doubletwist.com on Android

  other podcasts are showing up... for example I received 99% Invisible Episode 129 last evening http://99percentinvisible.org/episode/thomassons/

  For me, the quirks kind of add to the richness of this experiment we're all participating in.

  Yea its definitely interesting ....and perhaps even more fun this way.

  But what auction mechanism will bring more value to LTB? (I don't claim to know)

  Would it be possible (and is it a good idea?) to allow last minute bids to go through (in the "authenticating" state) that have not been confirmed? That is, Bids are acceptable as long as they propagate the network even if they have not been confirmed?

  Like so:

  The auction "closes" twice.

  • 1st close: Last bid: Closed to new bidders
  • 2nd close: Valid Bid Found and Outcome Decided: Last confirmed valid bid decided 1 hour 30 minutes after 1st close.

  Its possible that an additional valid bid could be found after 1:30 but using this as an internal cutoff helps remove uncertainty from the auction.
