Re: Podcast Play/Re-Play (iphone)
@barry I'd like to request the ability to play at 1.5x or 2x as well. It all depends on who is on the podcast ... some people can be listened to at 2x some at 1x. I think perhaps there has been some speed manipulation in post production on some podcasts as well?
The only time I've done speed manip was on an xnova interview that never ran because he was anonymous at the time. We do heavily edit some speakers because they uh have have have have have a ton of... have a ton of verbal clutter and if you if you if you leave it in there it uh.... uhh..... looks like you don't know what you're uh talking about.
Depending on how you do that (and who is editing) it can impact the speech cadence and take out too much of the gaps. You are probably picking up on that, and it is very much case by case based on need.

Re: Tipping
@davidareallen What about paying it forward. I want to set aside a budget for LTB Tips and I want it to come out whenever I "like" an article or podcast. Is it possible to just have a slush fund for playing around with tipping?
About bit over a month ago we had a group meeting where we decided it was better to start with everything on-blockchain (via counterwallet) and to at an early opportunity create or integrate with an on-site hot wallet that would let you send tips in either ltbc or btc without needing to pay tx fees or wait for confirmations.
So yes, that is in the plan but it is fairly far back unless we bring on more development help which is a distinct possibility.

Re: THE BIG WEEKLY LTB CONTENT ALLOCATION LIST
Mutatu: Audio is a lot more moving parts to track, we will either have a code on episodes that is good for a limited amount of time once per user account or we'll be tracking plays off soundcloud and our apps.
We're having a lot of issues with our audio system right now and might wind up just walking away from soundcloud and using a more conventional system.
Regarding the audience, I'll be happy to share that report with you as soon as we're ready to generate it. We're on our first week of gather most of these stats.

THE BIG WEEKLY LTB CONTENT ALLOCATION LIST
The spreadsheet is only set up for Proof of Quality - Basically you take the number from this chart and the corresponding week (we are on week 1) https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1GzytNblMx8xBmUczX7sPC8QitkJrrRirNrh2AJtjy1Q/edit?usp=sharing
Then you take the POP rates and ever-more-slices-of-the-pie distribution described here https://docs.google.com/document/d/1HBbuN8rmrH22kXSYiDZaRv9aR7MVrI4FB8fSrSQ37tc/edit?usp=sharing
and you get this, the master list - At the end of each week every piece of content on the front page will be added (if not before), and it will generate the split.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1riyEFqV-G6uIn84kW3lFzqr2GRGDOPGCExwqt8vNbYE/edit?usp=sharing
I've updated it with all the content since we started counting on Friday.

Re: Writers wanted for Crypto for Change autonomous content team
Very much in favor of this initiative - So we're clear, having your work published on blogs like Crypto for Change will be the key to getting on the LetsTalkBitcoin.com front page, which is how you get to be part of the Content Creators LTBCOIN weekly distribution.
Each blog will represent a niche or viewpoint, and the front page will take first all of all of them, and eventually just the best of all of them as defined by their respective audiences.
If you've been looking for how to get involved, this is a great way. In a deflationary environment, you always want to be first :)
