Oh my word! I can't be the only person who is really struggling to find enough time in the day now that all this crypto stuff has come along. Bitcoin and the ever deepening pool of related things (including LTBcoin!), are so important to the world, but there's too much to explore in too little time.

When at work I'm luck enough to be able to listen to the LTB podcasts, which I love. The problem is that the podcasts only reveal the tip of the iceberg. That's not to say that the material produced on the LTB network is deficient in any way, because most of it is very satisfying. No, the problem is the sheer volume of new projects and ideas arising in this space. I'm getting increasingly thirsty for knowledge about Bitcoin and "Bitcoin 2.0". Sometimes it's tough to know where to focus my efforts - it's so easy to miss something.

Speak up if you're having the same problem! It'd be good to know that I'm not the only one overwhelmed at the moment...

I've been having this problem since the beginning of the year.

    These times, they are a-changin.

Dont sweat it Speng, you are certainly not alone, I think I may have a problem actually, the more I find out about the Bitcoin 2.0 platforms more interested I get and the more interested I get more I want to learn about bitcoin 2.0 platforms. This vicious cycle has kept me up at nights and compelled me to keep reading. Thinking I should start a bitcoin anynomous support group :) we can sit around a circle and talk cryptos.

I'm having the exact same problem. Hard to be so excited about something, and wanting to be as involved as possible with it, yet having to deal with… oh… day jobs, family, sleep, exercise… I sort of minimize telling my wife how much time I'm spending on stuff related to crypto/bitcoin.

It's probably just going to get worse for us, right?

yeah, the wife is a touchy subject. She's certainly a believer, but she also thinks I am completely obsessed. I may very well be, but I am still on the first stage: denial :)

I listened to the master coin episode and was wondering if there is some sort of spreadsheet/table where these different platforms like NXT, Counterparty, Etherium are listed with their attributes such as block time, issuance mechanism and coin distribution model, crowdsale type, etc . I listened to so many interviews about all these things and they all start to get jumbled up in my mind.So far, I am the most familiar with Counterparty due to LTBCoin and I also thought Swarm sounded cool so I chipped in a bit for that too. It would be great to be able to put them side by side and compare them to each other. Thanks.

@Doogy I think that would be cool, and it should include pre-mine info, reputation info, and other details beyond the technicals. Counterparty kinda snuck up, while everyone was talking about the other platforms.

My impression is that Swarm and CoinPowers are a layer on top of Counterparty, Matercoin, etc., intended to help non-technical people fundraise on the 2.0 platforms.

Buckle up and smile, because it's only going amplify and move faster. With bitcoin, its like the steam engine was just released on the world. There will be thousands of variations of that engine and and infinite number of ways those engines are going to be put to use.

But yeah, I know what you mean.

YES! I have to have the Boston Red Sox forum open so I can switch when my family comes sniffing around to "see what I'm up to". I feel like I'm watching porn or something. It's Bitcoin, for God's sake! I shouldn't have to be ashamed. (But I might be addicted.)
