@javierasis I use Windows and I've also used IOS. I would like to install Linux on an old acer aspire laptop I have but I'm not too technical and I haven't found the time to go through all the information available online, there is a lot to be understood for me.

If someone reading this has got any clue of where should I go to get simple instructions to install Linux, I appreciate his / her indications. For what I understand Linux is the OS that we all should use to increase security and privacy around the internet.

    Thank you all.

I would love to help you set up a linux distribution :) Please give me sometime to put together a good step by step guide and I will post it here :)

    Mac... unfortunately.

It's built far better than windows in every way and linux in some ways but unlike linux programs are generally available for Mac (and it looks nicer than Linux imo).

That being said I loathe how they have to sell you bundled hardware at exorbitant prices.

Basically all in all they are all compromises but I think mac does it best. (windows convert speaking here btw)

True that, you can try wine though: http://www.nosuchthingastwo.com/blog/2014/04/28/starcraft-ii-on-ubuntu-14-04/

It typically has a lot of bugs but it is worth the try.

I worked on trying to get starcraft via wine for like 5 months and always came up with resolution and color issues. Its no good sadly :(
