Are you saying they give different results?
EDIT: I see you are talking about onion addresses. I don't have an answer for that :P

I'm guessing that DDG still does not index .onion (even though they operate from a .onion address). This was true a year ago (maybe more). Google does index .onion. That is the difference (I think). Why? I don't know but would like to know.

Google is indexing .onion domains? o.O any link to this? AFAIK both google and DDG doesn't index .onion, they both are search engines but DDG offers more privacy (happy to be proved wrong).

since when we have any search engine who's indexing .onions sites which are working only in TOR network? i think you are mixing some stuffs here, here the official link for tor network: https://www.torproject.org/
.onions sites are not reachables without being connected to TOR

Uumm... Maybe I should have said *maybe google is indexing .onion (yeah I know. It was late). I've never seen .onion in google search. Thought OP was stating that he had.

ok, nevermind :D i read someone writing about google indexing .onion but i didn't understand much. Actually it could index domains like onion.to (that's a TOR network proxy).
