I swear if anyone could win an award for religiously listening to every single word ever spoken by the LTB Podcast network for the last year and a half, it would be me. I have listened to hundreds of hours of LTB Podcast without any magic words.
But here I sat in my car today .... 12 minutes remaining of Mad Money Machine latest episode, and I couldn't stomach the off topic filibustering anymore. I am not the type to "cheat" so this really was out of character for me, but I gave in. I skipped forward 60 seconds, using my podcast 60 second button. Hoping maybe to catch the magic word and go on with my day.
Bad idea.
I proceeded to waste the next 30 minutes trying to find the magic word like a total tool who is cheating the system, justifying it in my mind that no human being could possibly remain sane with all the endless talk talk talk talk about non bitcoin topics, and therefore I deserved that magic word without much more effort. After all, I'd made it 45 minutes through like a good little boy.
I skipped forward, again, and again and again, then boom. Im at the end. No magic word. So I proceeded to backtrack. Back 1 minute. Listen for 15 seconds. Nope. Back another minute. Listen for 20 seconds. Nope, heard that already. Back another minute. Nope.
And then I was back where I started. With Paul Boyer saying "Some of you are probably just listening to hear the magic word aren't you?" DOH.
After 30 minutes of literally doubling over the last 12 minutes of the show three consecutive times, I failed to hear the magic word. Half of that was two songs, 4 minutes each, that I had no interest in hearing.
Kudos to you Paul Boyer for hiding the sh*t out of that magic word and foiling my evil plans in the last 12 minutes of your episode!!!! :-D :-D
