I like how they are working with maidsafe and not trying to compete directly. I got some just for the novelty.

Excited to see where this one goes! I personally don't think the value will go to the moon, with so much available space in the world. But it should be a very excited and useful service/technology.

Storj dev here. Thanks for all the great comments. Distributions are disabled for me. Are they still working for you Cryptonaut? I'd be happy to give you some more SJCX to distribute.
We already have top level application running our prototype code: http://node1.metadisk.org/
One of our users produced a decentralized video player in a few hours after the start of our crowdsale: http://snart.cc/teststorj/demo.html
I've talked to Adam about perhaps building a decentralized audio player as well. Could replace soundcloud here on Lets Talk Bitcoin. We have an episode about Storj coming up as well.
Here is a sneak peak at our 2nd application:

@super3 that sounds awesome!
Distributions directly from counterwallet are disabled now for anyone with a IP address from the US... kind of a heated discussion right now about it in the counterparty skype chat room lol. You will need to use a VPN in order to get access to those features back.
With the distribution system we use here at LTB, we send out each transaction individually to each address, so it works a bit differently than a normal dividend (e.g we send out based on site activity rather than how current coin/shares/token/whatever that you already have) but can also be a bit costly in fees depending on how many people you are sending to.
Were you looking to distribute something to a set of specific addresses, or just to send out to all holders of SJCX (i.e like you would with the "pay distribution" button in counterwallet)? I can help you out with either method if you need. we have our own counterpartyd server that we can use for whatever - the IP blocking for americans is specific to counterwallet.co

Well its seems you got everyone's attentions by distributing SJCX. Might want to time it with the release of the Storj episode, and give it out to LTB users.
