We just need to know our market so we can determine where to exert resources on a time scale.
iOS and Android will both be covered in some shape or form.

I own both, so I can use either one. But I vastly prefer IOS, so I cast my vote there.

In the overall scheme of things I agree with you on iOS, unfortunately Apple seems to be leveraging their monopoly on the market.

Yup. The main problems with Android are that Google doesn't yet have the kind of power that Apple does to leverage over carriers, so Android phones are filled with carrier junk, have disabled functions, and take forever to get updates. Also, Google just doesn't know how to do user interfaces. Android is a better product than IOS, and Plus is better than Facebook, from a functionality and freedom standpoint. But those of us who have to use the product every hour of every day deeply care about UI and workflow, and Google fails badly at those things. I'd love to move away from IOS, to support the Bitcoin community at least, but as things stand, that won't happen. It's really a shame that IOS disallows Bitcoin apps, as I feel like my Bitcoins would actually be more secure on IOS than they are on Android. I wish someone could come up with a way to encourage Apple to reverse its Bitcoin stance, that doesn't involve giving up IOS. But anyway, that probably deserves another thread.

Apple is taking a combative stance against Bitcoin. Android all the way!

If Apple supported Bitcoin and cryptocurrency I'd be back on board. Android till then.
I think something like LTB could eventually turn into its own mobile operating system o_O, so maybe there is no need?

I have a samsung galaxy express running Android.
Apple products have superior UI design, but that advantage is offset the company's hamhandedness in dealing with perceived threats (like bitcoin). I do expect that Android will become less inept over time.0 likes
