I vote for 51 million. I like the fact that it calls to mind the Bitcoin cap of 21 million yet is still significantly larger, indicating one LTBcoin is meant to be a "smaller" coin, just right for tipping.

How many total LTBcoins should there be?

Adam said: Ok, I tweaked the spreadsheet to reflect a final money supply of 50 million units. I actually like the progression quite a bit, although the first month we'll be issuing nearly three quarters of a million per week!
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AoPQ9D7Ob3GDdE44c29WdTlkcTVzRm1UMkp0RFp5VEE&usp=sharing
Each week the distribution is 99% (1% deflation) of the week before until the second year at which point it becomes 98% (2% deflation)...
Year 3 is 97% per week (3% deflation)Year 4 is 96% per week (4% deflation)Year 5 is 95% per week (5% deflation)@adam, I just spent a little time diving into this spreadsheet and I like this A LOT. It's very well thought-out and really incentivizes hard work early on - the perfect strategy for bootstrapping anything. Well down Adam - I'm freakin excited.-CC

I can see with a mined coin a high coin distribution helps add the fun aspect to the whole process I.e. Doge- with the determination of how many to distribute the understanding of how easy they will be to get is more important, to few and they won't circulate, there is obvious hoard problem and it's not in the amount but how hard they are to come by regardless of 1 or 1 million. They need to come easy, fast and often to be spent and traded. Think faucet ideal. Bitcoin nailed this growth curve value distribution to something that appears to be the perfect model, but if attempted now would be so exploited that I am unsure if it would even work with a different network value hash rate etc with out unrealistic piling In that btC amazingly skipped over
