About Me

First let me introduce myself, my name is Dan and I'm a senior at the University of West Florida majoring in Information Technology. I have become increasingly interested in cryptocurrency technology and have decided to put all my extra resources into developing new services for the bitcoin community by merging current technology with new. BTC.Blue is the product of my enthusiasm.

About BTC.Blue

http://BTC.Blue website is a collection of web applications that provide services for facilitating trade, jobs, and e-commerce. The http://BTC.Blue market enables anyone to buy or sell products using Bitcoin, Litecoin, or any of the traditional payment processors. But the market has more potential than that by staying ahead of the curve and integrating new technologies that are rapidly rolling out.

Obvious advantages to BTC.Blue Marketplace:

  • There is more than one type of decentralized marketplace. If you have 1000 different centralized marketplaces just like BTC.Blue in different locations, it will be very hard to stop free digital trade and make denial of service more difficult.

  • Direct FIAT to Crypto payments, you can't do that anywhere else especially CounterWallet, CoinPrism, or Mastercoin's wallet.

  • Familiar looking Shopping Cart and Payment interface makes selling to less technically inclined people frictionless.

  • More secure than an exchange for sellers because transactions are processed manually

  • Compatible with ANY digital asset such as: CounterParty/ColoredCoins/MasterCoin.

  • Market gets around the issue of needing a MSB license throught the use of trusted payment providers.

  • Did I mention creating your own shop is free and easy? http://www.btc.blue/Create+your+store.html

  • Supporting the project has never been easier: Upgrade to a premium store or buy BTC.Blue Tokens.

About BTC.Blue CounterParty Tokens

BTCBLUE Tokens are an experiment and hold no cash value. Once we finish implementation, the tokens will be redeemed as store credits for select products or services on the marketplace. In time, the tokens can be redeemed for premium perks such as removing advertisements from your store or can be used to purchase advertising space on the other free stores at the btc.blue market. I want to push the limits of the technology and enable it with that same technology. You are free to sell your tokens to someone who needs advertising or give them away to a friends so that they can start a store and join the digital marketplace.

Terms may change without notice. It will take some time before we can implement some of these features with automated systems but that is the ultimate goal. In the mean time keep an eye out for auctions where you can redeem tokens and we will just process things manually for now. We will try to keep you all posted as we continue to work out the details. Question, Comments? Comment here or feel free to contact me at [email protected] if you have any questions regarding the project.

We thank you for your interest in supporting our development. You can purchasing BTCBLUE tokens at our Marketplace Store here: http://www.btc.blue/btcblue/cart_21.html

No Dan, thank YOU for your generosity.

Dan helped me buy my first LTBCOIN and opened the door to all of the new possibilities at www.BTC.Blue. Great place to start in Bitcoin 2.0 with .XCP (Counterparty)

It's good to be breaking ground in this amazing technology. Maybe I will see your tokens available on the marketplace soon? I went ahead and enable Paypal for purchasing with credit card along with Bitcoin and Litecoin. Getting tokens in the hands of buying customers has never been easier!

@davidareallen I just sent out 0.000455 XCP to token holders of BTCBLUE as a test. It might take a few minutes to show up, let me know how it goes and if everything is correct.

I think CounterWallet servers have been a little wonky during the times of heavy development. I will give it another go soon.

I got mine just minutes after you sent it. Though it feels odd since you also gave me some tokens just before. Anyway, I'm off to buy some more tokens to show some support.

I should've read things properly before making an order: "Note: You need to include your CounterParty address in the comments at checkout for a smooth process."

Also, I'm fairy sure I put in 5 BTC.BLUE tokens to buy at $1 each, but looking at the screenshots of the payment process I paid $10. Might be a bug, might be something else I didn't care to read carefully enough >_<

Either way, you already have my address and if not you can ask me for it :)

Hey Roze, Thanks for the support! I see what you mean about the discrepancy, I will look into this and figure out what's going on so we can get it fixed. I went ahead and processed your order and did a refund for the excess. Let me know if anything else is off and we will make it right. Thanks again and have a good day, brother.

Edit: Pricing should be fixed now,.
