People still using Bitstamp to trade? lol.

If you want a recommendation: start trying other exchanges and distribute your holdings to prevent problems if exchange 'close their doors'. In case you trade a lot, of course… if you don't trade it save BTC on your wallet :)

well I must say they solved the problem nicely. I had no isues to withdraw the money right after them came back. So this makes me even more confiance. And I am registered in more 10 exchange so I can tell about. But in this I give you right safe it in your wallet but safe the wallet and dont loose it with a harddrive failer.

Bitstamp reduced their fees… I think that they don't have much less users than before…

    People lost confidence in them.

I dont keep really any money in any exchanges that i am not comfortable losing at any moment. But I am also not a day trader, so if I want to trade for something its like a 3 hour process for me. Put the money in, traade it for whatever, take the money out.

I leave about 1.5 BTC in coinbase for the various btc apps i use to pay for stuff but thats about it.

But to be honest, Bitstamp handled it very well and I wouldn't give up on them yet. These things happen in this space. The big companies become heavy targets and thats part of the risk of being a day trader (which is what keeping your money in these exchanges is really for, high frequency trading).
