If you actually want to invest in crypto companies you could check out havelock investments, but I don't know anyone who hasnt lost money who've actually invested on that site. Most crypto companies that are traded on that site are either scams, run out of money and cease operations, or are just looking for investor money.

Well I am not that green when talking about investments. So far I have managed to differentiate my portfolio in a way to be able to mitigate risky deals and make some money at the same time. However, investing into or 1 or 2 more profitable venture is something I would not refuse. Thx for this comment.

Agreed, but at least you're able to recognize that now instead of after losing a substantial sum of BTC

Every time I tried to invest in something I have lost part of my initial stake so I just hold the bitcoins I have hoping that the price will rise sooner or later.

Yes, I know the feeling. However, it ll comes with experience. After being into crypto world for almost 2 years, I have learned how to filter good investment opportunities and have actually made money on almost everything I have invested in during the last 6 months. Let see if I can keep that score in the future.

I wanted to invest in dogedice.me maybe, it is a gambling site but to allow higher stakes it needs a higher bankroll. That is where investors come in, you can invest to increase this bankroll and earn a portion of the sites profit(or loss), but since the site has an house edge of 1% you should be making a profit in the long run.

The problem is that I don't have any doge and buying them is not a great option IMO, since I am very bearish on doge. You could make a profit in doge, but when exchanging back to btc you lose. That is why I'd like to stick to bitcoin, it still has room to grow.

The sister site is bitdice.me, but it is far less popular. Maybe the doge community is different, they think that doge doesn't have value anyway and therefore the barier to gamble is lower.

The number of bets on bitdice.me is far lower, (but higher value bids), but this also means that the variance in profit is far larger, therefore you are likely to lose and gain bankroll more, but in the long run in evens out again.

An altcoin in which I would invest something is Burst, they haven't hit a major exchange yet and the coin is really innovative compared to the others.
