Re: Podcast tracking
@william To be honest, I don't really want to link up external accounts with LTB. It would crimp my listening routine, and also feel like I'm letting go of too much personal information.
Which is ok, we will never force you to connect your google or facebook account :)
Great! But there has been talk about linking up with soundcloud and apple accounts. That's why I said that I wouldn't want to do that in order to earn LTBcoin. I think that the "magic word" approach Adam is suggesting might work well.

Re: LTBCOIN now trading on Melotic.com exchange
@adam Hey folks, I'm pleased to announce that after a good conversation about useful assets with Jack Wang over at Melotic.com, LTBCOIN has been listed to trade on a exchange for bitcoin. Jack comes highly recommended, and I believe this platform is safer for trading than the forum.
https://www.melotic.com/markets/ltbcoin-btc
BEFORE YOU DO ANY TRADING: Please remember that LTBCOIN is a VERY new crypto-token, and so while it is being issued on a long term deflationary schedule, in this initial bootstrapping "lets get everybody involved" period it is highly inflationary.
Every friday we release the weeks allocation of LTBCOIN to content creators and the audience. We have no idea how the price will perform because this is literally the first user-created-asset to be listed on a centralized exchange that hasn't already been crowdfunded to a fixed amount (as with Maidsafecoin), so we are in uncharted waters.
Good luck!
Nice. Anyone want to bet on how long it will take to get onto a major exchange?

Re: LTBCOIN now trading on Melotic.com exchange
@robmitchell
@richierao Already visit it yet,The price may be too high now.
Looks high to you, but it looks very low to me, based on the transactions (not trades) I've done with LTBcoin, and on what the LTB ads (site and podcast) have been selling for, in LTBcoin. At the current Bid and Ask on Melotic, and the auctions for ads, LTB is practically giving away ads.
I wonder if the trading price will move towards the value we've been implying LTBcoin has for transactions (on average, at least 10X the trading price), if the transaction price will move towards the trading value, or if the two will just remain very different?
The price now is too high. This is not to diss the network or its potential, but don't forget there will be 510 million coins. And something like 2 million more are generated per week. I don't see the price per LTBC going up soon. I think that the idea for so many coins is that it will be a bit like doge and people will tip it and throw it around a bit. But you never know. This is crypto.

Re: What should be added to the forums?
+1 on search, +1 on post-history. Also the ability to give posts a +1 would be nice. Wasn't there an "agree" function on the old forum? I liked that too.

Re: It's Expensive Using Bitcoin!
@adam woof
mmmm. doge. Would this involve counterparty changing blockchains, or would it be a counterparty fork?

Re: It's Expensive Using Bitcoin!
@crimsonroze One option to reduce cost (and security) would be to apply the counterparty protocol on top of another coins blockchain where the transaction costs are lower.
Also I'm not sure fee's are guaranteed to rise with the new fee model. And even if it does, whenever we get a solution to the costs of block distribution and allow larger blocks the fees should go down again.
Well, I think counterparty is open source, so this should be technically possible. And also, building on another blockchain could increase speed greatly, right? But then don't you loose the security advantages of building on BTC? And also, wouldn't that drastically increase the amount of work needed to be done by the LTB community, because it would essentially have to develop that fork of counterparty? I'm not a programmer, so this is mostly guesswork...

Re: It's Expensive Using Bitcoin!
@william Seems like this is a tradeoff for using counterparty on the BitCoin blockchain... If these fees can't be controlled it could really make this project difficult in the long run. Theoretically, could LTBcoin be migrated away from counterparty to a different protocol, if needed at some point in the future?
I was also going to suggest the delivery tax thing until I saw this idea which got me thinking. Do you mean you would move it to litecoin blockchain lets say for the sake of this argument? or where you thinking a different platform on the bitcoin blockchain?
Not litecoin... But there is another
I was thinking something like NXT -- though I have not played around with it and don't know about their transaction fees. Adam, tell us, what is the other you are mysteriously alluding to?
